The day was wonderful with many beautiful vistas, good wines and comfortable rides. Beginning at Muir Woods was perfect. We were there ahead of the crowds and were able to really appreciate the beauty and the silence of this incredible place. The town of Sonoma was fun to explore and the restaurants were plentiful and yummy!. I highly recommend this day out and about!
We had Roman as our tour guide and he was fantastic. His knowledge of San Francisco was incredible as well as his witty humor. The group I went with all had a great time on this excursion. We had so much fun that we decided to booked another Viator tour to Yosemite National Park.
Tour guide was great! Very friendly and conversational and was conscious about time.
The tour and Anthony our tour guide and driver were really awesome. The first leg of the trip took us on a drive across the Golden Gate Bridge to Muir Woods, where we walked trails engulfed in the majestic splendor of massive redwood trees. Anthony expertly navigated our vehicle out of Muir Woods to our next destination, a boutique winery in Sonoma Valley. After an enjoyable and relaxing wine tasting session, we were off to another small winery in Napa Valley, for another wine tasting. Then it was time for a pleasant lunch in Sonoma, a small, quaint town, filled with shops, restaurants and more wine tasting. Anthony gave us a good tip, telling us where to get free samples of cheese and chocolate at our lunch stop. After lunch we were taken to our final winery in Sonoma, enjoying more wine tasting. All three wineries were staffed with friendly, knowledgeable people who were proud of their wines and eager for us to taste them. Last, but not least, we made a final stop, overseeing a breathtaking view of the Golden Gate Bridge and the city. Overall, this was an outstanding tour and a memorable experience.
Great tour guide and company. Very professional and accommodating. Breathtaking views and a great experience. Muir woods is a must see location and the wine tours were a nice sampling of the regions flavor.
Great trip. The driver was informative and humorous. I would highly recommend this trip
We had a great time! Our guide for the day was Anthony. He was charming, friendly and helpful. Never a dull moment! We loved the Sunfower Cafe he recommended for lunch.
This was a really good tour. Curt was a fun guide, and we enjoyed the gorgeous Muir woods and the tour's selection of wineries.
This was a great tour. Our guide, Roman, was fantastic with a lot of good commentary and suggestions. Very organized and punctual so we got a lot in one day. If you are more inclined to leisurely tours, split Muir Woods and Wine Country trips into two days. Muir woods is worth seeing, but go early we did to avoid the masses. Enjoyed the wineries we visited and their staffs were all excellent in their presentations. Bonus was a quick trip to the Marin Headlands to see a fantastic view of the Golden Gate.
This was an amazing tour, especially the wine country tour. Our tour guide Ramone made it even more enjoyable. He provided excellent insight and enabled us to get the most of our tour. I would highly recommend this and if possible ask to take the tour with Ramone, you won and #39;t be disappointed.
With many different winery tours out there to choose from, this full day tour really was outstanding! Anthony our driver and guide was friendly, fun and extremely knowledgeable! He made our trip really memorable! All of the reviews about him are true. If you get him as your guide, consider yourself lucky!!! The Muir Woods is a beautiful and peaceful place - not sure I'd like to stay there all day, but the hour we had was enough time. The first two wineries were boutique wineries so they were smaller and more intimate. Our last stop was a larger winery which produced more types of wine. At each winery we were given information on the wine making process and were really allowed to try an unlimited amount of wine. While previous reviews stated the sales pitch for a corkscrew purchase, thankfully we did not have that occur.
This is a great combo trip. Especially if you are short on time and want to see both the redwoods and a bit of wine country. Roman was a great tour guide. Very entertaining and knowledgeable.
This tour was amazing. The Muir woods are beautiful and we had just about enough time to wander around and soak in the nature. The guide was perfect and the wineries were so pretty and amazing. We got a lot of tastings and the perfect amount of time to walk around and try all the wines you wanted. I recommend this trip to everyone that wants a day outside of the city and have a bit of nature and of course WINE!
Driver was out of this world with the best knowledge of the area and facts. We have been on several group trips before with people that can not do what our guide did. We had arrived in Muir Woods Early and got around the crowds which allowed us a quiet reflective walk. The rest of the trip went equally well to keep on schedule with some very nice stops along the way. We would collectively agree this is by far the best trip we have been on.
A perfect mix of wine, woods, and humor. We enjoyed visiting Muir Woods before it became extremely busy we were able to hike without crowds. The three wineries each offered a different experience. Above all, Anthony made the trip a success! He had helpful tips, interesting facts, and an engaging personality that made our trip a great deal of fun. Thanks, Anthony, for an outstanding trip!
Beautiful trees, great views, terrific wine, a memorable lunch, and one of the most enjoyable tour guides we've had. If you have Roman the tour guide, you're in for a treat!
We truly enjoyed this day trip! Our guide and driver Kurt were very knowledgeable and humorous! He was a great pleasure to listen to on the bus.
We highly recommend this trip!
Very much enjoyed the 9.5 hour tour. It went just as written to the Muir Woods and then on to wine country. Our driver Phil was delightful and very informative. He gave us helpful information and advice along the way and also made sure we had a chance to view and photograph the Golden Gate Bridge. Being picked up and dropped off at our own hotels was definitely a plus since we didn't have a rental car while in SF. It was an easy paced, relaxing day.
The tour was great! Very informative, friendly and Roman was a fantastic tour guide. I would highly recommend this.
Great combination of Muir Woods and the wineries! Lunch on Sonoma Square was a great idea!
