Loved the tour! We had a great tour guide and the vineyards were amazing! Thanks.
Really great day out. Visited three vineyards and sampled some great wines but that wasn't the highlight. Dylan, our guide, was knowledgeable, approachable and, more importantly, an absolute riot. Fantastic vibe amongst the group which was held together by Dylan's singing, story telling and appalling attempts at our various accents. If you've got a spare day in SF, do this tour and, if you're lucky, you might get Dylan and his really dodgy English accent!
Chris was very knowledgeable about San Francisco, Sonoma and provided interesting information about wine, how it is grown and the best way to taste. My daughter and I didn't have much sleep the night before but Chris was able to get us out of our funk with his hummer and uplifting personality! We got way more for our then anticipated!
Great tour. Hits a few wineries, but you get to truly enjoy each one. Relaxing trip. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining.
Excellent tour. We were picked up from our hotel and there began a wonderful day. A photo stop at the Golden Gate Bridge, and we were on our way to Sonoma. Visited three different wineries. All had their own characteristics. Great ambiance and great wines. Our guide, Mark, was very knowledgeable on all aspects of the wine making process. Very entertaining and familiar with the wineries we visited.
Got picked up right on time in a new 14 seat comfortable van. If there were issues about being cramped they fixed them as it was not cramped at all. Carson, our guide/driver was awesome!!! He was low key, funny, approachable, informative and kept us right on schedule.
Great guidegood choice of wineriesright amount of free time exploring the Sonoma Town Squaredoor to door service
We recently did the Sonoma Valley Wine Tour and it was fantastic. Jan was a wonderful guide and was very knowledgeable about the region and the wineries. Jan is a very interesting guide and made for a thoroughly enjoyable day. Thanks!
This tour was just what I had hoped it would be: friendly, knowledgeable guide, Mark love the hotel pickups and we were fortunate to be last picked up and first dropped off nice variety of wineries to see picnic style lunch was plenty of food and some free time in Sonoma to walk around the town square and do a little shopping. It was a great day and left all the traffic and arrangements to someone else's!
A really enjoyable day. Great company with other guests on bus and Todd was a fantastic guide.

it was fascinating trip. i'm not sure the reason, but i think because Sonoma valley is near and smaller than Napa. we had time more than wine, we had time to take a photo by the golden gate bridge and to get to the cheese factory Sonoma plaza. also pretty interaction between small-group member we had, made our memory wider and deeper. So, I strongly and highly recommend for those who wants to get more than a wine!
Wonderful way to spend the day. We learned a lot, met very nice people and had a great time. I would highly recommend this trip.
This was a great tour, with a great driver/guide and nice bus. The pace was perfect.
Wonderful tour guide Barbara. Especially enjoyed the Robaldo and the Larson Family wineries. Tasted some great wines and learned some California history , plus did a little shopping in Sonoma. I highly recommend the Sonoma tour!
Things I loved: hotel pick-up and drop off, winery selection we went to Homewood, Larson Family, and Nicholson Ranch, Rainey our tour guide's insightful information about the area and wine-making process, ability to drink wine on the bus between stops/on the way back to the city, lunch at second winery was great, cold water provided throughout trip, bus had great AC which was needed on a warm day, only 12 people on the tour, which was awesome!
Only thing I would have liked is more time at the different wineries. There was going to be a lot of traffic headed back into town, so we didn't get a long time at the last winery, which had some beautiful scenery. I would have loved to be able to take more photos.
Overall, a wonderful experience. I'd absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a wine experience in San Francisco area.
This was a fantastic tour! The coach was very comfortable. The three wineries chosen were excellent, with great wine, friendly and knowledgable staff, and spectacular views. Most of all, Adam and Rebecca were great tour guides.
This was a fantastic tour! I highly recommend it! My 84 yr mom, sister and I attended this wine tour in celebration of mom's birthday. We were picked up at our hotel and ready for a fun day. All our companion guests were great. Our guide Mark was awesome!! So knowledgeable of the area, wine country and a great personality. We all felt very welcomed and he made our day really fun. We visited 3 vineyards, they were all small family owned vineyards, but great. We had 4 tastings per vineyard, but could always revisit a wine or ask to try another. All the vineyards offered wine clubs, but were not pushy about it. Our travel van was comfortable, provided water, mints, gum and sunscreen. Lunch was at the second vineyard, which was a beautiful spot and it was a warm sunny day. Lunch was very delicious too! We spent an hour walking around Sonoma which was fun. You could go taste cheese if you wanted too. The day overall was so fun and very informative. Mark gave us a music cd of San Francisco music artists over the years, and mom received a bottle of wine for her birthday. I would not hesitate to book this tour, ask for Mark, he was awesome!!
This tour was topnotch. The van was comfortable the guide was knowledgeable the wineries were unique the box lunch was tasty. All in all it was a great experience. I will recommend it to my friends.
Katie was our tour guide. This was our second winery trip within one week Napa was first. The wineries on both tours were similar...not sure if it would have been better to do it all in one day??? the benefit of the two full day tours was an entirely new group of people. The folks on this second tour were more outgoing, chatty and fun.

The bus was a very tight fit, but the tour content was good.
Dylan, our guide, was entertaining and knowledgeable, but we were disappointed with the first two wineries. At the first we felt it was rushed and they couldn't wait to get us out the door. It was also cold and difficult to hear because of another group and their host. The wines at the second were mediocre, but a pleasant location to enjoy the good lunch provided by the tour operator. The third was by far the best both, in terms of the venue and the quality of the wines. The host was interesting and was not pushing us to buy wines - they would sell anywhere.

The bus was a super-tight fit, but the tour content was good.
This tour was overpriced and unenjoyable. Things did not start well when the tour guide was late to pick us up, having been told the pick up was 8am we waited patiently in the cold hotel lobby for over 45 minutes until we were collected. We then realised we were on what can best described as a watered down version of a party bus. The bus itself was nice (newish and clean) however we were crammed into communal seating arrangement which got very uncomfortable on long stretches of the journey - no room to stretch out and no head rest to relax on, you better hope your fellow tour group is cute because you're going to basically be sat on their lap for the duration of the day. The bus then proceeds to stop at tourist spots which you are likely to already have visited if you have been in SF for more than a day or two, with longer than needed stops while everyone else on the bus waits for the one or two people in the group to take 45 more pictures of the bridge...
Complete with cheesy forced fun and a team building quiz, this tour is less about the vineyards and more about trying to enable a bus full of strangers to 'mix'. Best part of the tour was the lunch with purchased from a local Sonoma deli which probably cost all of $10. Take my advice and look at other tours for wine country, or hire a car and go at your own pace around the vineyards which, from what I can tell, offer wine tasting either free or at a minimal cost. Don't waste your time or money on this tour.
