Make your way to any of the tour stops listed on the itinerary, and present your voucher to start a hop-on, hop-off tour of San Francisco. Buses run every 20 minutes, so it's convenient to step off the bus as often as you want.

The route starts in the heart of Fisherman’s Wharf, then continues along the Embarcadero to Alcatraz Landing, the jumping-off point for tours to Alcatraz Island.

Head to Levi’s Plaza, Embarcadero Center and the Hyatt Regency Hotel, near the shops and gourmet restaurants at The Ferry Building—these last two stops are where you can pick up a bike for a ride along the waterfront bike path.

Turn towards Union Square, Nob Hill, and the winding Lombard Street, then visit the Palace of Fine Arts and the Golden Gate Bridge (hop off here to walk across the entrance to the San Francisco Bay).

Other stops include Golden Gate Park, Haight Ashbury, Alamo Square, Civic Center, and Chinatown, then the bus tour returns to the waterfront, where you can use your tickets for a Bay Cruise from Pier 39. See “Itinerary” for a complete listing of the stops.

The Hop on Hop off could be great but there appears to not be enough buses. Several broke down and then the wait time was often 45 minutes. The host and drivers are all very good- they make you feel very welcome . The trip to Sausilita was great- In order to make this a five star the company needs to improve the bus operations. It would also be helpful to have signs at pick up stops. The bus covers all the interesting parts of San Francisco. It's now up to management to make this work.

Absolutely terrible. An example of incompetence at a very high level.

The bus line had great tour guides that were very knowledgeable about San Francisco, the only thing I would have changed is the bus wait times and knowing the time the bus would arrive. Perhaps a GPS on the bus that you can track via a phone app would have been nice. Other than that, I loved it.
