Meet your guide at the James Lick Memorial Statue in San Francisco's Civic Center and board your vehicle for a scenic ride to Northern California's wine country. Depending on the day, you'll head for the Russian River Valley, the Dry Creek Valley or the Napa Valley, all famous for their high-quality wine and spectacular scenery. The Russian River Valley is known for its Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, the Dry Creek Valley produces excellent Zinfandel and the Napa Valley is world-famous for many different varietals.

Once at your destination, climb aboard your bicycle, don your helmet and set off for your first winery. The day's total mileage will be between 10 and 15 miles (16 and 20 km,) and a shuttle will follow the group to transport wine purchases or anyone that wants to take a break from cycling.

Upon arrival at each winery, you'll tour the property and learn about the wines and the winery from the sommelier guide. Taste different wines, purchase some if you like, and hop back on your bike, pedaling down the charming country roads to your next destination. Stop along the way for a picnic lunch (see itinerary below for a sample menu.)

At the conclusion of your full-day bike tour through Northern California's wine country, board your vehicle for the drive back to San Francisco and drop-off in Civic Center.

We took this tour the end of September and were lucky to have gorgeous weather in Napa! We had a group of about eight people and quickly made friends. Everyone was so much fun! Danny was our tour guide and was very knowledgable about the wine making process. It was fun to learn from him! We stopped at four different wineries. Judd Hill was our favorite. They did a private tasting with us, which was a lot of fun! The only positive criticism I would have would be the lunch. Although it was delicious and fresh, I did not feel it was filling enough for a whole day of wine sampling! Would definitely recommend this tour.

Our Guide was super friendly. It was evidently that knew the area around. Very good facts and information about de SFO bay area and the surrounding places. Even though we could still see some remaining of the sad fires all the places were fully operative and in great condition. The route is safe pedal-able and enjoyable with the tastings.

We took the tour on the hottest day in history, 113 degrees! Danny, the guide, was a lot of fun, and knowledgeable. Tastings were extra, from 10 to 25 dollars each. Overall, the tour was excellent, you should do it!

This tour had the potential to be great. 4 wineries and biking. It was fun besides our tour guide. Danny was incredibly unprofessional. He added girls on last minute who we had to go out of our way to pick up. It felt like Danny uses this tour as a way to pick up girls.

What a great time! My wife and I wanted to go on this tour for the past 10 years to celebrate our anniversary. Hunter was our tour guide, and did a great job! He was able to coordinate and mesh all of the personalities on our trip, and I believe everybody thoroughly enjoyed it. He was professional, courteous, and very personable. It was a good workout, and the scenery was spectacular. Great lunch, too. Definitely one of the best times of our lives. Thank you!!!

Had a great time! The bike ride was a little longer than we were expecting but no hills....didn't help that we happened to go on one of the hottest days of the year so far in Napa. : Our guide Ari was so great and accommodating.

Really had a great time, it was so nice to see the beautiful vineyards at less than 65 mph. It was mostly flat so we didn't kill ourselves and the 4 winery stops we made were each unique in their own way. The lunch was also very good. Great way to spend a day.

Very enjoyable day and our guide was great. It is worth noting that this is not for inexperienced or nervous riders as you do share narrow country roads with a reasonable amount of traffic, and some of the terrain is quite steep. However there is always the options of travelling in the van with the guide.
