With having the typhoon Hagibis in Japan, my flight got cancelled and had to expand my business trip longer, here in San Fransisco. I decided, then why shouldn't I have a visit to the world's most famous winery county... My trip started with anxiety as it was a solo trip, but every thing changed when I got on the bus. The guide/driver Epete was a thoughtful and knowledgeable guide, who knew all sorts of things. Not only the wine and how to drink, but history, the landscape, and many ideas on what is going on around the world! The winery we went to was lovely but the last but not least Golden gate bridge scenery was lovely too!
Thank you so much for the guided tour! I was lucky to participate, and strongly recommend you on this!
We had a great time!! Anthony our driver was amazing! Great laughs and always ready to take your pictures so you don’t just have a selfie! Great insight to the wineries as well!
Pro tip: bring snacks for the wineiers before lunch!
After much debate about how to get to and “do” Napa/Sonoma while visiting SF, my girlfriend and I decided to go with Edge of the World based on the reviews we saw on here. For the price we paid we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. Our guide Epaul was fantastic - knowledgeable, funny, and probably most important, professional. The three wineries we visited in Sonoma were smaller operations but the tasting experience at each was phenomenal and much more intimate than what we would have had at a “tourist destination” winery. Epaul also stopped at Sausalito and Golden Gate Bridge on the way home - a nice way to break up the long drive back while somewhat buzzed. The biggest X-factor in all of these tours is the group you’re with because you’re with them for much of the 9+ hours. We were fortunate and had four other friendly couples. Overall it was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend for anyone looking to do a group trip to wine country.
Fantastic tour, Anthony made the day enjoyable with his knowledge of the area, the wine country and good humour. For a person that isn’t much of a wine drinker I certainly appreciated the red by the end of the day. Top day ⭐️ Highly recommend
Tour was well run and organized but the absolute best part of the whole tour was our driver Anthony. Not only did he know his stuff when it came to the wine and winery’s but you also get a mini tour of San Francisco when he decides to do impromptu stops. Absolute top guy who was hilarious and made everyone have a great day. He made it for all of us on the tour. Every single person gave him a big hug as he dropped is us each off, measure of what an amazing job he did.
Marc was such a great guide. He gave us lots of insight into the city and its history, and he crafted a perfect wine tour for us. The price is very reasonable considering it includes the wine tastings from three different wineries. The group size was just right with a total of 8 people. I would definitely recommend and tour with the company again.
My mom and I travelled with Marc and four others on a beautiful day in August 2019. It was a good balance of driving and tasting and a lovely lunch stop where we were free to eat wherever we liked in Sonoma. Marc was a great guide and we learned a great deal about the area and at each stop about winemaking. We thoroughly enjoyed our day.
