This tour was scheduled through Extranomical tours. We were a group of 35. Lars the travel guide was informative, fun and kept everything on schedule. The Muir Woods tour, early was a great idea! Lunch in Sonoma was lovely. Great recommendations for lunch by Lars. Wine tours with a large group are a bit disappointing, clearly commercial selling , probably better for people new to wine tastings as most of us in our group were used to more personalized tastings. Would recommend!

Muir woods cost not included, I wish I had known that, it's 10 at the gate. Sonoma is beautiful, wish we spent more time there and at more wineries. Driver gave us just enough time in sausalito and sonoma town 45min each - I didn't expect the sausalito stop. A nice freebie if you haven't been, waste of time otherwise. Had two different shuttle drivers, one really great one, one with terrible jokes going down a steep hill.

2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better July 2016

Bus did not pick us up from our hotel and we never got a msg of plans changing. Muir Woods tour was like a hop on hop off tour bc of the apathetic guide and was a huge waste. You had to change buses to get to the wine tour, which was unorganized. Only do the wine tour bc the tour and guide were great.

There was a lot of traffic that day, which made us get to the woods a bit late. We miss understood the return time for 11:30 instead of 11. In our minds, only 30 min in the woods seemed absurd and we didn't double check with the driver. Anyways, we went back at 11:30 the bus was gone and so were are chances to take the Sonoma part of the tour. We called the office several times to see if there was a possibility to re-schedule the Sonoma part or for them to give us any options, but there was little to no support on your side. I won't be recommending this tour to anyone.

Felt very rushed the whole time. They were unclear about transport and pick ups. picked us up in Sausalito 20 min late so our first tasting was very rushed. Group size much bigger than stated and they didnt drop us back off at our hotel as promised, making for a LONG walk after a long day
