What You Can Expect

After pickup from selected hotels in San Francisco, board a comfortable minibus for the approximate 4-hour drive to Yosemite National Park. En route, you’ll make a snack stop among the fruit and nut orchards of the San Joaquin Valley before continuing on to the Sierra Nevada foothills and California Gold Country.

Entering the national park via historical Groveland, you'll stop for a guided hike among Yosemite’s giant sequoias — ancient redwood trees whose trunks span up to 40 feet (12 meters) in diameter. Your drive continues into the Yosemite Valley, stopping at Tunnel View for the quintessential photo op of that includes Bridalveil Fall, El Capitan and Half Dome.

After a close-up look at the falls, head to El Capitan, the world’s largest exposed granite monolith. Search for rock climbers ascending its sheer face, which rises thousands of feet above the valley floor. Then it’s on to see Half Dome and Yosemite Falls, whose lower and upper cascades form North America’s tallest waterfall.

During free time to explore on your own and purchase lunch (own expense), you can hike among numerous paths, snap more photos at the base of Yosemite Falls or visit Yosemite Village. Then meet back up with your guide for the return drive to San Francisco, with another quick stop for food in the Central Valley before your 14-hour tour ends with hotel drop-off.

Great Tour, The time that you have in Yosemite is quite enough to see the most important things of Yosemite. The Secuoyas forrest and the main things of Yosemite Valley, water fall, river and to do a small hike. Calder the driver was very nice, explaining everything, about SF whe we're leaving it and things about the landscape on our way to Yosemite, as well as things in Yosemite, he stopped few times to let us to take pictures. He also stopped in front of El Capitan to take pictures and looked for climber with his binoculars and the share them with us to shoow the climbres

This tour was incredible!!! Highly recommend it. Yosemite is one of the most beautiful parks I've ever seen and Brian was a wonderful tour guide. Brian is very familiar with the area and strategically took us to different locations to beat the tourist traffic. He planned it our perfectly, loved it!

This is a beautiful place to spend a day or more. It is a way out from San Francisco but close enough to be a comfortable day trip.
There is plenty of inbuilt free time a key locations and the day panned out well. Our guide was good, lots of useful tips and hints as to how to get the best from our time.
The main highlight of our trip was the stunning Yosemite valley. Stunning mountain views of El Capitan and the Half Dome. The beautiful waterfalls and the pleasure of just walking in the stunning scenery.

One word Wow!!!!!
Now for some more words - stunning, breathtaking, amazing!
Our trip to Yosemite was the highlight of our holiday and the most beautiful place I have ever visited and I'm so pleased I choose this particular company to go with.
First they pick you up right outside your hotel in a 15 seater minibus and the guide/driver I think his name was Brian? was very welcoming and outlined the plans for the day. We were extremely fortunate with the traffic and got to the park in very good time which was a bonus but obviously out of the control of the driver anyway. We even stopped at a lovely little farmers market on the way to pick up snacks and use the restrooms. Our driver then explained we were doing our stops in a different order to the order many of the larger bus tours do theirs to try to avoid unnecessary crowds. He did however pull over for photo opportunities where he knew we could get good shots from. When we arrived at Yosemite falls we had 1 and a half hours of free time could easily have spend about 4 hours here though and my son and I decided to climb the falls to take a swim in the pool at the top. The climb was not easy I have 3 bruises to prove it but was worth it and we even discovered an easier route down along the edge rather than up the middle as we went! After a swim under the falls we had to head back to the bus grabbing a quick take away lunch from the lodge in the park. Then we moved on to El Capitan to check out the climbers unfortunately there weren't any climbing due to the smoke and weather but a great spot for photographs. Then we continued on through the park with a few more photo stops before going to see the enormous and impressive Sequoia trees and a 45-60 minute walk down to the tunnel tree and back. Then unfortunately it was time to head back but again this was broken up with a quick toilet break at a service station and a slightly longer stop at a small outlet with a supermarket and restaurant to grab some more food and drinks.
Our guide was also very interesting and informative and obviously enjoys his job and knows his stuff. He also provided some entertainment in the bus with a selection of films and documentaries to help pass the time. He also let my son sit in the spare seat up front with him so he had a better view and chatted to him and answered his questions and pointed out places of interest.
It may have been a long day but it really didn't feel that bad and it's definitely worth it. If you are considering this trip then book it. You really won't be disappointed with the sights you get to see during this trip. A place I would definitely recommend seeing!

Incredible doesn't even express how wonderful it was. It was a sight that I don't believe I'll ever experience again. It amazed me how overwhelmingly beautiful nature is. Stunning.
It was a very long day but seemed to fly by. We stopped at a local market/farm on our way to Yosemite. Wonderful
