Excellent trip, I really enjoyed the tour. The guide Hugo was great. Lunch and dinner were outstanding.
The tour was terrific! Our tour guide was so informative, and kept us entertained all day long!
The tour to the Arenal Volcano was great. Our tour guide was Filander. He started our tour with a great amount of information of Costa Rica. He was very knowledgeable about different topics, and he spoke in Spanish and English all the time. We went to Sarchí, to Arenal and then to the hot springs.
Hot springs are unique. Excellent for couples in love. You need to spend the night in tabacon.
The day of our trip, was extremely clear! It was absolutely beautiful getting to see the volcano. Our tour guide was very educated about Costa Rica and all of the things we saw. I didn't just learn about the volcano I also learned about Costa Rican culture, animals, history, economy, and much more. The majority of the trip is spend in the car due to the long drive. But we made many different stops as well. We also spent 3 hours at the hot springs, which were beautiful.
The long distance created some time crunches. On the other hand, I appreciated the fact that there was a tour from the San Jose area to Arenal. Food at both lunch and dinner was delicious it was some of the best I've had in Costa Rica so far. Tour guide told funny jokes, which I enjoyed. The Baldi Hot Springs resort was one of the most posh places I've ever seen. Pretty fabulous.
A long day but very worthwhile.. You do spend a long time on the coach and the way home is rather longer than is truly comfortable however it and #39;s a price worth paying for a great day out.
The views of the volcano were spectacular, both meals were more than passable and the hotsprings were amazing.
driver roy did a great job. Mad maxx was informative, funny, and a great example of a good coasta rican. they both deserve a pat on the back, and while doing that a raise, why not, too veterans doing what they love...
This was a fantastic tour and the guide Eugenio and the driver Edgar were a great team and took care of everything. It was a LONG day 12 hours, but a great price and a beautiful tour.
The hot springs were like a natural water theme park. Highly recommended.
Before reaching the hot springs in Baldí, we enjoy the beautiful views of the volcano Arenal. Baldí is a beautiful place to spend a nice day. There are several pools with different temperatures. It has all the facilities to spend a relaxing day. It is highly recommended staying at the hotel Baldí.
hot springs baths were amazing. tour guide incredible. strongly recommend it if you go to Costa Rica
Great Tour! Hugo was an excellent guide - very friendly and knowledgeable. Beautiful views throughout the journey and at Arenal Volcano. Had a great time at the Hot Springs! - Janelle
Verry good day trip. Long drive from San Jose but its lots of thinks to see . Baldi its nice place to relax
This was an excellent trip for me and my wife to see a few different areas in Costa Rica in one day! The tour guide Oliver and bus driver Roy were great in terms of enriching information not only in the destinations, but also the History of Costa Rica during the drive. Due to cloud cover we didn't get a great view of Arenal Volcano, but they did take us to some great spots to see for photos to get an exquisite view. Be prepared for a long day of travel, but it's worth it to see the different levels of vegatation and towns that Costa Rica has to offer. Definitely a trip we would do again with family members!
Despite the long drive from San Jose this tour is a MUST DO!!! The day we went the weather was perfect! The Hot Springs are amazing!!! Don't forget to bring swing suit!
If you have never seen a volcano in your life, then here's your chance. I hadn't and it was worth it. Thankfully, we were very lucky, as our guide told us who was terrific, by the way that it was a relatively clear day, so we could see it in all its glory. A word of caution to those with physical ailments: There are a number of steps to go up to the clearing to see the volcano. If you cannot climb steps, which are created into the grassy, slightly steep and rocky hill, you will not be able to enjoy this. The Hot Springs resort visit was INCREDIBLE. Great for adults. Great for children. Yes, there is a separate area for children to enjoy. Adults, however, must be present with them at all times. You must remember to take money with you to rent towels, but the money is returned once you return the towels. There are a number of springs to choose from. You are able to go from spring to spring. Bars are available, and restaurants are on site, including a buffet. Gratuities for the guide and bus driver are welcome. Note: Included with this tour is lunch. However, alcoholic beverages and soft drinks/sodas/juices, etc. are not. Those are to be paid for separately.
It was a wonderful group of people on the bus. The tour guide was friendly, personable and answered all questions...his knowledge of Costa Rican history and culture was much appreciated. One of the highlights of our trip, we loved the Baldi Hot Springs.
We had an amazing time! We learned so much about the local culture, agriculture, and the terrain. Our driver deserves an award and our tour guide was fluent in both english and spanish. The lunch stop was at a restaurant near the vollcano with beautiful views. The food was great. Our tour guide Mario always offered his help. Baldi Springs were exotic, clean and relaxing. My girlfriend and I were able to be alone in them because of the amount of pools they had. I feel like a kid again after flying down the water slides! This is a must do and made our trip a memory that we will share for a lifetime!
