What a fun-filled day! Manuel Antonio is such a beautiful place and such a contrast to San Jose - maybe my favorite beach I’ve ever been to! Although it’s a long day, it goes by really fast with all of the stops between the city and Manuel Antonio. Also, our guide Oscar was so much fun and extroverted that he helps the trip go by super quickly.

A great day in nature
Brad_B, Dec 2024
What an awesome tour. We had a fantastic tour guide who made the day extremely special for my wife and me. We stayed hiking instead of swimming which worked great for what we wanted to do this day. The park is the real attraction. We saw all the types of monkeys and sloths and many other animals. What a great trip.
Good trip, covering...

Good trip, covering wildlife and beaches. Breakfast was rice, beans and plantain for us vegans- could have had toast and a fruit platter. Saw Scarlett macaws, iguanas and capuchin monkeys. Lovely lunch at a rooftop restaurant and an hour beach time. Agustin was once again a fantastic guide and sent us photos he’d taken with his professional lens the day after our tour.
AMAZING

This tour was absolutely amazing!!! The tour guide Giovanny and the driver Jose were so awesome! They made th trip fun and Giovanny has high energy and goes above and beyond to make the tour memorable and fun! All the stops were well worth it and of course the star of the tour Manuel Antonio National Park! What a beautiful national park, what more can you want than sloths, monkeys, beautiful beaches and amazing thinking trails! Don’t miss out on this tour!!!!!
Great hiking and stairs

This was a great tour if you get to the park early in the morning for the crowds. Plenty of different monkeys and great hiking with lots of steps. Once in the park we were on our own swim or hike. Great breakfast and lunch but little time to buy local gifts.
Great tour with a great guide

The tour to Manuel Antonio Park from San Jose was guided by Jose and it was a great trip. The drive from San Jose to Quepos is long, but Jose made it great by expressing passion and excitement along the way as well as making sure the trip progress in a timely manner. The trip included breakfast and lunch at very enjoyable soda and restaurants. Jose also made sure to keep an eye out for wildlife along the way and share facts about the places we pass through. The trip was well organized, and we all had time to enjoy the trip at our own pace while also not feeling rushed.
Well worth it!

Awesome!. Our guide, Harlem (and our driver) were helpful and knowledgeable.. Halem used his telescope ro find monkeys, sloths, etc and lined up our phones with the eyepiece for amazing pictures.. Highly recommend this tour.
Sloths, iguanas and deer oh my!

Excellent communication re: transportation and itinerary. Our guide, Oscar, was personable and energetic. Even coordinated the return of an item left behind on the bus. Great stops along the way spotted 9 crocodiles along the bridge and grabbed some great souvenirs on the way back. When you hit the beach go to the adult option if you want a little more seclusion, epic waves and marvelous views/ photo ops! Long day made great with cool global travelers, excellent driver and scenic ride! 💸💸💸Great value!!! Pura Vida 🫶🏽🇨🇷🏝️🦜

Fun at the beach
G_P, Apr 2024
Our tour guide Fernando was great. We did not see much wildlife but mostly monkeys, iguanas, a few birds. We had fun at the beach. The view from lunch was beautiful but food was just so so. We expected better food from a nice resort but nah.
Great day trip to Manuel Antonio

Great trip. Harlem was an amazing guide! He spotted scarlet macaws, sloths (one with a baby), monkeys and even a boa constrictor! Beach was beautiful. Breakfast and lunch were both great. It’s a long trip from San Jose but worth it.

Worth the long drive in good weather
Zoila, Mar 2024
It was great to be picked up from hotel and taken back at end of trip. The stops were not clear. The bus needed a speaker hard to listen to guide. The breakfast was good and hot. It is a long ride but worth it. The timing of park stop and events to follow a bit confusing. Great driver.
Great day at Manuel Antonio!
Steven_M, Mar 2024
Great experience, we definitely got our money's worth. The drive is long, but hey, it's Costa Rica, and there were enough stops and breaks along the way to make it comfortable.
Long day, but worth the drive
Carolyn_B, Feb 2024
Long, long trip from San Jose to the beach, but once there it was worth it. Great stop on the way to see macaws, and beautiful setting for a lovely lunch.
Bring your wetter bottles!!
Ritabelle_F, Feb 2024
Remember MA park does not allow food or plastics! The heat will kill you, crazy standing in line inside the park. Playa Sur is better wind, less crowds, cooler water temp to swim!
Wow! So many things to see
Heidi_K, Jan 2024
We had a great guide Harlem with Marvin our driver. We saw every animal On the trail to see thanks to Harlem’s friendly way with other guides and his keen eye for spotting birds and wildlife. Everyone on our tour would say it was an amazing experience. Everything was clearly explained and our group was on time and appreciated our guides thoughtfulness.
Manuel Antonio National Park
Patricia_N, Jan 2024
Harlem and our driver (sorry, forgot his name) worked hard to ensure we saw as much as possible. Harlem carried a scope so we could see the wildlife up close. At Manuel Antonio we saw wildlife including monkeys, sloths, a snake, etc. Harlem also made special stops so we could see macaws and crocodiles. If we had visited Manuel Antonio on our own, we wouldn’t have seen any of this. Definitely recommend booking this tour.

A exciting, memorable, trip
Farhana_A, Jan 2024
We had a wonderful, memorable tour today. Our excellent guide was Fernando , he was so knowledgeable. We learned a lot about Costa Rica from him. We were promptly picked up from our hotel and had a wonderful breakfast. We were than taken towards the manual Antonio park with stops for sightseeing of crocodiles and a fruit market to get some quick snacks. At the park we breezed through the lines and had a wonderful day enjoying the beach and tropical forest. We got to see the spider monkeys a rare sight. We were then given a delicious lunch in a restaurant with a great view of the ocean and the park. The drop off was promptly done.
Great trip and guide
LindaA_K, Dec 2023
We had a great trip to the national park and the dogs along the way. The driver was good and the guide was informative and fun. He shared interesting information, helped us make the most of our time and kept us on schedule. He had to work extra hard because a guide called in sick and he had to lead both English and Spanish groups at the same time! He made the most of a difficult situation. My only complaint was the vehicle. I had to spend hours with my legs bent over a wheel well because of limited seating. It's a looong drive with that set up.
Worth it even in the rain.
Tara_Y, Nov 2023
Such a unique tour through the rainforest to a beach at the end! Never experienced anything like that in my life. Saw some cool wildlife like the Halloween crab, white faced raccoon, howler monkeys and a stunning amount of plant and flowers. Even with the rain, it was 5/5. Recommend bringing some ponchos. Some walking but fairly easy-ish apart from the slightly steep hill down/from the beach. The beach itself was lovely too - nice sand for walking and beautiful green waters.
Long walk but pleasant.
Richard_R, Sep 2023
Probably the beach at MA park...it was beautiful...it was a long walk through the park but we didn't see any birds or animals. The weather was hot and sunny.
