What To Expect

From the cruise ship to the Puerto Caldera port to Adventure Park Costa Rica, it’s time to fly high amidst treetops and over waterfalls at one of the country’s largest canopy parks.

Upon arrival, a professional guide will meet and greet, offering advice to get the most out of this thrilling experience; it's a unique and energizing canopy tour that zooms over 11 waterfalls, making it the longest zip wire in Costa Rica and one of the oldest in the world.

This half-day tour features a trek across 25 zip lines — including two rappelling maneuvers and a swing over a hanging bridge. Breathe deep and enjoy the fresh air and spectacular views of Nicoya Gulf from above the rainforest canopy.

The tour includes a 30-minute off-road truck adventure (scenic views are free), plus an optional swim in a spring water mountain pool and a delicious Costa Rican lunch at the El Tucan restaurant afterward. Good physical conditioning is required with a weight limit of 280lbs (127kg).

Be sure to bring a bathing suit, comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes on this exciting journey.

Canopy tour with 25 Cables over 11 waterfalls: Canopy tour different than others? You will be our reference. The tour combines adrenaline of Canopy (Zip lines) surrounded by its natural beauty. Descend from uphill through the river canyon, 25 lines canopy over 11 waterfalls. The adventure begins with the 4x4 journey in our adventure cars to travel from the hotel to the first Canopy platform; in this part of the tour, you will admire the entire Gulf of Nicoya, its islands, the area of Puntarenas and other surrounding cities like Miramar, seen from above, at 987 meters above sea level. Once you have arrived to the first platform, it's time to start with a 25 cables of Canopy, always following down the river canyon, where we will fly over a total of 11 waterfalls. you will also have the opportunity to do two rappels (each over a waterfall and easy for everyone), crossing a Tibetan bridge over the river canyon and last but not least the chance to cool off while enjoying a natural pool in the river, which is located at the base of a waterfall. This is an opportunity not to be missed, to experience not only a canopy tour, but also to experience the falls in the beautiful Mountain area.

We had so much fun. We were with a large group so there was some waiting but we were able to visit with the other people and make new friends. Good views of waterfalls and beautiful countryside. We would do it again but in a smaller group. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Safety was a priority

This tour was over the top wonderful. We were picked up at the ship's pier by a friendly guide who spoke excellent English. The ziplining was thrilling and I felt totally safe. The guides were attentive and fun to be around. We ended the tour with a delicious authentic Costa Rican meal. Perfect day!

OUTSTANDING..well organized, totallly safety number 1...highly recommened...BUT.people with lower body pains would probably not complete...not due to the zip lines..but due to steep terrain and steps carved into mountain side which one must traverse to sometimes get to the next platform...we experienced only one problem and that was at the cruise ship instructions were to meet transportation at the end of the pier.....we did ..and dumb me, im looking for a van identified as viator...not the name of the resort..any way we finally made connections a little past 8(and much concern about missing the trip..i called the hotel ..their driver was beside the ship waiting for us....we were at the end of the pier....cant say enough good things about the hotel staff including all the guides that tended to us...near perfection...jerry lee
