A very good tour. Felipe and Sebastian took us through two of the main food markets in San Jose and included in the price are many tastings of the products on sale, from bananas to home made ice cream. The guides could not have been more informative. A fascinating insight in to local customs and history. Also included are two of the main churches in San Jose. A word of caution - if you are coming from an out of town hotel allow plenty of time to get to the meeting point. The San Jose traffic is horrific. If you are in a city centre hotel then- no problem.

Very good tour. Eric was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about San Jose. We didn and #39;t focus on the touristy side of the city but more of the and #34;secret and #34; history of San Jose. Highly recommend this tour. We will definitely book another tour on our next trip.

My buddy and I had a marvelous time with Eric and Carlos. It was like being with friends. I have never learned so much on a walking tour. These guys really knew there stuff. You could feel there passion for their country. Any and every question i asked them was replied with a heart felt answer. I do not know how they do it being on the move every day walking the streets of San Jose with tourist. Eric and Carlos shared their personal life experiences of growing up and living in Costa Rica. They shared stories of the history of the country and stories behind the architecture we viewed. So much to see and experience in San Jose. I would do this tour again just to hang out with my new pals Eric and Carlos. Thank you for making us feel like we were spending time with old friends.

I was fortunate to have Brenda all to myself on this tour. She is a lovely girl and was very happy to share her knowledge about the tour topics and also life in Costa Rica in general. It was more like walking around with an old friend and she fielded my dozens of questions with cheerful enthusiasm. We spent half the time in the market and half outside so if you are looking for a more all encompassing orientation tour, I would suggest a different tour. However it was a nice way to spend the morning, tasting the different fruits and foods I was unfamiliar with. I loved the place she took me for chorreador made coffee and plantains with cheese and spice so much that I had to go back on my last day!

Young lady led our tour. Food part was fantastic. She did a great job showing us the 3 markets and arranging samples of unknown fruits and a great cup of coffee. Her knowledge of statues, monuments and history was a work in progress. She needs to continue to learn and read all the guidebooks she can get her hands on, Very congenial and pleasant person to spend time with.

Tour guide didnt talk much. Mainly just led us around and down a few streets. Although tour said 3 hours and that it ended with fruit tasting and coffee he just took us back to the entrance to the Central Market , handed us a couple pieces of fruit around 10:50 and dumped us.
