It was an amazing adventure. The guides were great on both trips. The one on the rainforest adventure were super friendly and encouraged everyone to have the most fun. Jacob the guide took a ton of pictures and shared them with everyone. This was great so we could remember the trip from a experts point of view. I was in such awe of my surroundings That having my camera out was not high on my list of priorities. The kayak trip was great too. It was a great bunch of people and we all enjoyed it.

I got sick the day before and wasn't able to attend the hike, sadly. But my friends who also purchased a ticket and they absolutely loved it which is why I'm giving a positive review. They showed me all the amazing, scenic pictures and spoke so highly of the overall day with ya'll. I am going to Puerto Rico in a few months and do want to do the hike myself and not just see it through pictures. Also if there is anyway I can get a refund for not being able to attend or at least an answer on whether I can get one or not since my text was never answered, that'd be cool :)

Great experience that we would definitely recommend. They were very accommodating for pick up and drop off, and the communication was great. Frankie was a great guide for the rainforest hike, and you get to do some really amazing jumps and see some cool waterfalls. The hike is not as strenuous as we originally thought, just be prepared to climb up some rocks. For lunch, they drop you at a beach with some great food options, which we really enjoyed. The kayaking was a great experience as well. The bioluminescence was extraordinary our night, so when you moved your hand through the water, it sparkled quite well. Overall great experience

This was a fun tour. I booked at the last minute and so glad to have done this one. They pick you up and take great care of you the whole time. Be sure to bring dry clothes, extra shoes, and a waterproof bag for afterward as you will definitely get thoroughly wet and muddy. Wear water shoes with gripping soles for the best experience. You can bring your phone but keep it in a dry bag or waterproof case or ziplock bag. You must sign a waiver once they get you on the bus (surprise!) so you are responsible for taking care of yourself. The climb up to the waterslides and rock jumps is strenuous so this is not a tour for couch-potatoes but you don't have to be super-buff either. No insects but sun exposure is part of this, so wear sunscreen or cover-up if you are concerned about that.

Worth it!

The rainforest was amazing; the tour guides (Fernando & Cristian) were great! The hike IS intense. You are often climbing on slippery rocks, walking through water (still on rocks), using trees/branches to keep yourself upright. But it is fun and worth being a little sore. The bio bay was not what I expected; you only see the organisms once the tarp is up and you put your arm in the water up to the elbow and move it around, but it is really cool. It does help if you have kayaking experience, but it’s not mandatory.

My wife and I went on this tour and really enjoyed the rainforest hike / swim. The glowing water at the biobay was a little underwhelming but the kayaking to get there and back, and the biobay itself were very beautiful. The guide also had good recommendations about where to eat in the kiosks at Luquillo.

Amazing tour itinerary with plenty of bathroom stops too! Probably my favorite day while in P.R. We were pleasantly surprised with the beach time between at the Luquillo Beach food Kiosks between the two tours. Bring a change of clothes for 2nd tour if not you will be wet all day. Yunque: Guides were amazing and even airdropped us all of our tour group pictures from the day Highly recommend this adventure day for friends/couples/families with kids over 12yrs old. Hiking up to the higher rock slides was not a beginner level. Younger kids in our group slowed the tour down. They do give you the option to stay down at the river swimming spots, but what kid wants to miss out on rock slides. We all had a blast in el Yunque! Bio Bay was good too! Bring a wind breaker /light rain jacket & use their bug spray. Wish the tour operator for this tour would have given us a head lap for the paddle in the mangrove canal. It was pitch black. Bio Bay at the end of the tunnel was totally worth it.

This tour was the highlight of our trip to PR. Our group was promptly picked up at Kasalta bakery. Everyone was friendly and informative upon joining the bigger group. The hike was way more challenging than we anticipated, making it the adventure we were looking for! Anytime we doubted our abilities, there was a solid and welcoming guide to help us along....sometimes literally pulling us up a slippery rock to get us to the gorgeous waterfalls and cliffs to jump from. Having the break before kayaking at the beach/food carts was an unexpected surprise that we all thoroughly enjoyed - arepas and mojitos on the beach. By the time we were picked up for the kayaking part of trip, the entire group had developed a kind of closeness, making the bus ride and kayaking experience more fun than expected. We went on a full moon night - or close to it, so it wasn’t as magical as anticipated, but with the help of a tarp we were able to get a sense of what all the excitement was about. The feeling and sounds while kayaking will be in our memories for a long time. Bus ride back to San Juan felt a bit long since we were all feeling tired and ready for dinner. All in all, we would definitely do this again if we had the chance!
