We begin pick-up 30 minutes before the tour starts which varies from 7am-10am. Travelers will be picked up at their hotels or their airbnb. Before the tour begins, be sure to pack a towel and shoes to hike/dirty up. You will enjoy a scenic view during a one hour drive from San Juan to Ceiba, PR with a certified tour guide. Once you arrive, there will be restrooms and changing areas before heading into the trails!

Highly recommend going in a small group and getting the full attention of your guide. Jean was tentative, educational, and tons of fun! The rain forest was great; full of adventure and memories. There were large groups along side us that didn’t get the same experience. Highly recommend going with this tour group.

I traveled with a group of 4 friends and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip! Fast communication to answer any lingering questions about pickup time etc. transportation was awesome - super comfortable vehicle was perfect for the ride from our hotel to the rainforest. Our tour guide Jean was exceptional, knowledgeable, and extremely friendly. He made sure our group enjoyed our time (and took tons of pictures for us so we didn’t need to take out our phones!) and was overall a great guide. I personally enjoy the intimacy of a private group as Jean was able to make sure we all could safely navigate the hike. Would 100% recommend!

Our tour guide Ian was great. Family had a blast on the natural slides. Had fun jumping off the cliff into the water and the rope swing. The private tour is the best way to go. So much more personalized attention. Definitely wear shoes you can get muddy!!

Wow what an experience! Mitchell was fantastic. He grabbed us early to get us some time before the crowds arrived on the trail and it worked out to perfection, especially his private jacuzzi spot on the river. The stop for lunch and shopping led to some amazing food on his recommendation. I could not be happier and would highly recommend.

We had such an awesome time! Jean our tour guide was very personable and knowledgeable about the history of his island, he made sure we all had an awesome time! From morning empanadas to sliding down a waterfall (and some mud) and to a great meal afterwards! The experience was excellent. I would recommend 10/10 and would definitely do it again! We had a blast!!!!

This tour was so well done, from pickup to drop off, we could not have been happier with the way this was planned out. Ian was our tour guide and he was awesome! He was so good with our two boys, ages 7 and 9. We all had a blast hiking, doing the natural waterfalls, and jumping off cliffs. It was an action packed day to say the least. Vacationing and choosing the right tours can be a bit stressful but we couldn't have asked for a better tour and tour guide for our El Yunque Rainforest and Waterfalls Adventure. Ian texted the night prior to verify pick-up and give us an update of what we needed for the day ahead. The morning of he arrived promptly (with a very cool jeep!) and he gave us some background of the area and chatted with us the whole drive. It is always interesting to get first hand knowledge from a local. Once at the rainforest, we started our trek through the lush forest. He pointed out flora, trees, wildlife and explained all about the ecosystem. Then we arrived at the falls and got to experience it's beauty. We all did the natural waterslide and the 12 ft jump. I almost chickened out but he made me feel comfortable enough to go out of my comfort zone. So glad I did it! It was unforgettable. My two boys did the 40ft jump as well. Ian video taped all of us sliding/jumping and also took some spectacular photos along the way. We appreciated him capturing all these great memories. After the tour, he rinsed off our muddy shoes (and you will get muddy but it's all in the fun) and we were given the opportunity to change our clothes. Our final stop was at a local establishment for lunch. He gave us great suggestions on the food and we all enjoyed our meal together. Some of the best chicken around and the rice and bean were delicious. Washed it all down with a homemade smoothie! If you are thinking of doing the tour on your own, we strongly suggest you reconsider and book with Ian. You'll enjoy and never forget your small group tour of El Yunque and the waterfalls!

Climbing rocks and traunching through mud has never been more fun. Swinging from a rope and jumping from a cliff into the river. The scenery was breathtaking, and our tour guide, Jean, was extremely knowledgeable , engaging, reassuring at the river, and simply a lot of fun to be with!

Jean was absolutely amazing tour guide from start to finish! He picked us up from our Air BnB and headed to El Yunque. We started the tour with history and knowledge about the rainforest. We went on to climb throughout the rainforest, rope swing, cliff jumping, and a slide through the rocks. His energy was incredible throughout the entire tour!!!! After completing the tour, he had two local recommendations for lunch that were amazing!!! Highly recommend this tour. I’m not sure if you can ask for someone specific but Jean was GREAT!!!
