ADDRESS: Escambron Beach (type into maps or Uber). Pay $5, drive through the guard shack, drive straight until you end into a parking lot. Go to the far left of the parking lot & look for the RED KIOSK. CHECK IN IS 30 MINUTES EARLY. LATE ARRIVALS MUST RESCHEDULE FOR A FEE.

Kids Had a ton of fun . They saw a lot of fish and a few sea turtles 🐢 . The guide was super patient and helped folks who had less swimming experience . But if you are terrified of the water and have never swam , this is not for you. This activity needs you to be comfortable underwater

Let me just say I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE , the title “ Snorkeling for beginners” was a complete LIE . The whole no swimming experience necessary A COMPLETE LIE. I almost DIED & the guide was EXTREMELY RUDE and impatient. I tried to swim to the nearest wall because I felt like I was drowning and the guide told me I couldn’t exit that way I had to swim back to shore, I told him I couldn’t swim and if I let go of the wall I’m going to drown he yelled out “you can’t drown, you have a life jacket on” I REALLY started flipping out at that point because i was choking , so he came and grabbed my life jacket and pulled me back to shore with a attitude and boasting about how he’s never had this happen , NOT TO MENTION IT WAS RAINING, THUNDERING AND LIGHTNING before we started and they wouldnt cancel our tour they said “it’s just water and y’all are going into water” which made MOST of us nervous going into the water . I didn’t see not 1 fish only seaweed and dirty water, the videos they send after the tour was prerecorded videos we saw none of that in the water, my friend went the day before me and they sent her the same exact videos. If you plan on snorkeling in San Juan PLEASE FIND ANOTHER PLACE THAT ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT YOUR LIFE AND EXPERIENCE AND NOT JUST MONEY HUNGRY BECAUSE THIS WAS A HORRIBLE UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE. I REALLY DIDNT THINK I WAS GOING TO MAKE IT HOME. The other guides working with other groups seemed to have common sense seeing that they all got out of the water when it started lightning everyone EXCEPT MY GUIDE AND 2 ppl from my group. JUST AWFUL. San Juan was amazing I will definitely visit again but I will never go to place again EVER!

The page clearly states that people who aren't good swimmers are welcome, but even though the guide knew I’m not a good swimmer, he acted like I was experienced. I’d be left behind multiple times because I’m slower than everyone else. I didn’t feel very safe most times. It’s like he forgot I was there most times, and my friends had to keep an eye on me most times and remind the guide to wait for me/ keep an eye on me. I just think if your page says ‘this experience is for everyone, even those who aren’t good at swimming’, then maybe get guides who actually look out for those who aren’t good swimmers.

Water was too turbid, didn’t see many fish. I’m not sure many fish hangout in the area to begin with…. The only positive, was we saw some Turtles. Wouldn’t recommend.

Snorkeling adventure

The instructor was amazing however, the water when we went was very choppy and it rained during our time on the water. It's definitely a good place for first time snorkelers and you feel very safe. However, due to the weather and the choppy water, the water wasn't super clear. We did get to see a lot of fish and two/three sea turtles. Overall, a fun experience.

You see some mid size turtles and fishes that you can see in an aquarium. Some old structures with no importance to them. What you are paying for is the gear, because as nice as our guide was, there was absolutely no need for him.

Our guide Abdiel was terrific! Very informative and extremely helpful. This experience was worth the time and money. They have a GoPro that takes videos and pictures for you.

Guide was excellent at getting new snorkelers all set with their equipment and helping them get comfortable in the water. Very upbeat and friendly, this was a good experience and I'd recommend it.

Murky Water Lagoon

The lagoon is next to the Caribe Hilton. A guided snorkel tour sounded like it would be fun with bright colored fish and a beautiful lagoon, however, that isn’t what you get. The lagoon is not nice, it’s filled with seaweed and murky water. You’ll see lots of fish and turtles, it’s just not a real snorkel experience. The lagoon seems very busy with these tours which I assume is the reason the water seems so dirty. Not enough fresh water coming in daily to clear the lagoon. I hate to say it, but I do not recommend this type of snorkel tour. You’re not going to see a blue lagoon, colorful corral or beautiful fish. On a positive note, the guides seem to have fun and do a nice job. Sarah was a very good guide regardless of the water conditions.
