Denise was a great tour guide. She explained a lot of the history of Old San Juan. The food was delicious and more than we expected. The pina colada @ Princesa Gastrobar was outstanding. I highly recommend this tour and put your walking shoes on.
Fantastic guides. Easy instructions. Made it back to my cruise with no issues. The food was amazing. Our guides were insightful, funny and offered a lot information about local history and architectures. A great way to tour the city of Old San Juan. Its totally worth the money!

This is NOT a gourmet fine-dining experience. It is a pleasant walk around the charming cobblestone streets of the oldest part of town, stopping into a range of shops and restaurants and getting a tapas-sized serving at each one. A sit-down mini-meal in a cafe. A snack in a courtyard tourist shop. A popsicle in a park overlooking the cruise ships. A do-it-yourself mofongo entrée. A perfect pina colada in the town's oldest rum bar. Cheesecake in a big, airy restaurant. Dress cool, wear walking shoes, think casual, and you will have a great time!
The restaurants and food chosen were great. Carmen and Victor, our tour guides were knowledgeable and very personable. Well worth the price.
This was a great tour. It was historical and all the food was a real treat. We left full!
The only problem we had was viator didn and #39;t send our info to the tour operators. Fortunately, I called before to confirm and got it fixed.
Simply Amazing tour. Our guide's name was Carmen who gave a very thorough, fun and informational tour as we ate our way through the streets of Old San Juan. The restaurants we sampled were Princesa along the La Rambla of Old San Juan for appetizers, Senor Paleta for amazing ice pops, Mofongo at a restaurant on Caleta de San Juan, tapas at Cafe el Punto and cheese flan at Vaca Brava. I am a big foodie and an architect, so a tour of my two favorite things combined was amazing. Would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Old San Juan.
Carmen was wonderful. The tour had a perfect pace and she was incredibly courteous and knowledgeable. I signed up on a whim and I and #39;m very glad I did. I would recommend this to everyone whether you are looking to get oriented for a long visit or hoping to pack a lot in on a short one.
Great tour, our guide was knowledgeable and had a sense of humor. Lovely city with great food
Great food, Great history, Great tour guide....Highly recommend!!!!
The tour was terrific!!! Luli, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable about the food and history. She made everyone in the group - and there was a wide range of ages - feel very comfortable. We enjoyed appetizers, entrees, dessert and the best pina colada I ever tasted.
The tour was fun and we tried a variety of different foods. You get a lot of food, so make sure to go on an empty stomach!
I highly recommend that anyone who visits San Juan should take advantage of the Old San Juan Food Tour. I found out a lot about that history of Old San Juan and I enjoyed some of the great food from the area.
Fabulous tour, very informative guide. Excellent information and food tastings - 5 different foods in 5 different restaurants. Would highly recommend. Lots of useful information given too
AMAZING!! The tour guide was great, the food was great, and the views of the city were so cool. Loved walking around and seeing all the sites as we traveled from restaurant to restaurant. Good local culinary info provided at each location! LOVED IT!
The food tour was wonderful. Our tour guide was so exciting and cheerful. Loved the ice cream after the little hill and making our own mofongo. Actually, we liked every stop. Each one was different from the last.
We took this tour the day we arrived. It's a perfect way to get acquainted with Old Town.
Bubbly tour guide Carmen led us through Old San Juan from appetizers, main dish, pina colada, to dessert. The food vegetarian for us tasted fabulous, and it was the best pina colada I've ever had. This tour was highly recommended to us by friends who had a different guide in February, and I recommend it just as highly to everyone else in a position to go on it.
Our tour guide Aura met us on time at the designated meeting location. We assembled into a small group of 8 4 couples and began our tour. She was very knowledgeable and told us about the architecture and history as we walked from place to place. At each stop, we received a small serving of a specialty of the restaurant we were visiting. We took an afternoon tour, and by the end, we didn't need any dinner that night. We were given plenty of food on the tour. My wife has had 2 knee replacements and recently had foot surgery, and she was able to walk the tour without difficulty. We did this tour in the afternoon of the day we landed in San Juan. It was a great way to get an introduction to the layout of Old San Juan. For the rest of our stay, we were able to use the knowledge we got from the tour to walk all over the city on our own. This tour was a highlight of our trip.
I would do the food tour again in a minute. It was so much fun and when you're all done you know a lot more about San Juan plus you are full of good food !
Great tour!!! The quality and quantity of food was amazing, and along with the beauty and history of Old San Juan really immersed us in the culture.
