Carmen was cheerful, engaging, and efficient - with a warm heart which brought the group's participants together. We loved the tour. It was the right amount of coverage in flavours and geography!. Carmen's knowledge of political, historical, agricultural, cultural and local matters was important to us and we have come away richer for the experience! We will enrol in future food tours as we travel. Thank you . We learned more and tasted well on the tour than we had in the two days upon our arrival.
Shannon was our guide, she texted us ahead of time to see if we needed any assistance finding the meeting location which I thought was a nice touch. Shannon was a great guide sharing lots of information and was really easy to talk to.
We tried a wide variety of very tasty food including coffee, ham sandwich on local bread with guava paste, ice pops, ceviche, we mashed up plantains for our mofongo which was fun, rice and beans, flan for dessert. I am missing a few things. The food was all good and we were all full at the end.
I really enjoyed this tour, it gave me a chance to try some foods that I probably would not have tried otherwise. Shannon gave us lots of history and showed us many points of interest.
This tour was so fun. Vic and Gaby were great guides, the food was both interesting and delicious with a nice cross section of locations to see and history to learn. Highly recommended.
I highly recommend this tour! The tour guides are great! The tour offers a great history of San Juan, and Puerto Rico in general, but it is not overwhelming. The tour is set up in a way that flows perfectly, and keeps you engaged. The food was outstanding!
Really enjoyed the sampling of food. Not all food was our favorite, but it was great to be able to try so many different dishes. Walking was not strenuous and our tour guide made sure we didn't spend too much time in the sun. We are active but in our 50s with some knee issues and were able to keep up with no problems. Really appreciated the info about history of San Juan we got on the tour. Guide was friendly and made sure everyone was included. Sun screen is a must.
Wow !! Did I ever learn a lot. This was a wonderful experience lead by Juan and Luis. They worked very well together, maintaining a pace that wasn't rushed but not too fast. We learned about history, culture and of course, food. I didn't expect that we would be making our own monfongo but what fun that was and it was the best monfongo we had on the entire trip. The tour was very well organized providing just the right amount of information without over whelming us. Juan and Luis were so personable, we were very happy with their guidance.
I highly recommend this tour.
Great tour guide! LuLi was prompt, pleasant, a lot fun and very knowledgeable. The areas and places we visited were, nice and very easy to get to, the food was incredible and we even went back to one of them of dinner.. I highly recommend this tour.
loved it , loved it my wife and I really enjoyed the food, drink and the information that Juan and Luis gave us. Would highly recommend in fact we come back to San Juan in Jan on another cruise and we are going to book again. You won't be disappointed
This was a great tour. The guide teaches you a lot about the history of Old San Juan and shows you some of the sites of the city. And then on top of that, you get to sample some of the local food. We took the morning tour that started at 10:00 am and I am glad we did. As the morning wore on the streets were more and more crowded and it became more difficult getting around plus the temperature got hotter. But all in all the tour was well worth the fee.
Entire party of 6 really enjoyed this. Even the older more gruff people in our complement were surprised. Would have enjoyed this with our kids and our grandparents. Lots of walking.
Excellent tour! Although it started late due to one of the guides having an emergency we were informed of the issue, they sent a new guide who was fantastic and very knowledgeable and compensated us for the delay. Very professional company. We thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour and history of Old San Juan while tasting 5 different cuisines and enjoying one complementary drink. I would highly recommend this tour.
Kathy was really great! I'm sure you have lots of other great guides, but she will be hard to replace.
absolutely amazing! the best tour we did while in puerto rico. the food was outstanding and our guide was able to tell us other hotspots in town. do this tour on the beginning of your vacation
Denise was a great tour guide. She explained a lot of the history of Old San Juan. The food was delicious and more than we expected. The pina colada @ Princesa Gastrobar was outstanding. I highly recommend this tour and put your walking shoes on.
Fantastic guides. Easy instructions. Made it back to my cruise with no issues. The food was amazing. Our guides were insightful, funny and offered a lot information about local history and architectures. A great way to tour the city of Old San Juan. Its totally worth the money!

This is NOT a gourmet fine-dining experience. It is a pleasant walk around the charming cobblestone streets of the oldest part of town, stopping into a range of shops and restaurants and getting a tapas-sized serving at each one. A sit-down mini-meal in a cafe. A snack in a courtyard tourist shop. A popsicle in a park overlooking the cruise ships. A do-it-yourself mofongo entrée. A perfect pina colada in the town's oldest rum bar. Cheesecake in a big, airy restaurant. Dress cool, wear walking shoes, think casual, and you will have a great time!
The restaurants and food chosen were great. Carmen and Victor, our tour guides were knowledgeable and very personable. Well worth the price.
This was a great tour. It was historical and all the food was a real treat. We left full!
The only problem we had was viator didn and #39;t send our info to the tour operators. Fortunately, I called before to confirm and got it fixed.
Simply Amazing tour. Our guide's name was Carmen who gave a very thorough, fun and informational tour as we ate our way through the streets of Old San Juan. The restaurants we sampled were Princesa along the La Rambla of Old San Juan for appetizers, Senor Paleta for amazing ice pops, Mofongo at a restaurant on Caleta de San Juan, tapas at Cafe el Punto and cheese flan at Vaca Brava. I am a big foodie and an architect, so a tour of my two favorite things combined was amazing. Would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Old San Juan.
Carmen was wonderful. The tour had a perfect pace and she was incredibly courteous and knowledgeable. I signed up on a whim and I and #39;m very glad I did. I would recommend this to everyone whether you are looking to get oriented for a long visit or hoping to pack a lot in on a short one.
Great tour, our guide was knowledgeable and had a sense of humor. Lovely city with great food
Great food, Great history, Great tour guide....Highly recommend!!!!
