My husband and I booked this tour as a date near our home town. We have never experienced Santa Ynez like this! The bikes were super easy to use, the guide was informative and nice enough to take some photos of us, and the group we were paired with was fun to hang with. We made several pit stops with great views, and had the opportunity to do some light shopping in Solvang and a lavender farm. The winery’s were charming and provided a nice scenery, with live music and games. This was a full day event we started at 9:45am and finished up a little after 4pm. We can’t wait to return with our family and friends.

What a great experience! We started with the tour around the countryside on e-bikes, including viewing wineries, a lavender farm, and a Danish village, all with interesting context from our tour guide. The bike felt like the perfect length and the e-bike made it accessible and fun for everyone. After the tour, we tasted olive oil before having a delicious lunch and our first wine tasting. We finished with a second wine tasting at another nearby vineyard. Highly recommend!

I loved the whole experience—the bike ride, olive oil and wine tastings, and lunch…what a perfect day! William is an awesome and wonderfully kind tour guide who is very knowledgeable about the local area. Highly recommend the e-bikes so that you can enjoy the beautiful scenery you’ll be riding through.

Wonderful tour. Haven’t ridden a bike in a long time, William was great at giving instructions for the ebike. I felt comfortable riding within the first couple miles. The bike route was very enjoyable. Not too much, not too little.

William was a fantastic guide—informative, knowledgeable, and very much in tune with the group’s needs or wishes. The bike experience was amazing. William was super careful on the road. I would recommend this to anyone…in addition, let him pick you up if that’s an option. It is so worth it. We would have had trouble finding the ranch and would also have needed a “designated driver” after the wine tastings otherwise. We also would have missed the camaraderie of the other guests and information along the way.

What a fun way to see beautiful wine country! Ending the ride with lunch and two wine tastings felt very deserved after 16 miles and some hills! William the tour guide is so knowledgeable about the entire area, wine and biking. He made us the most thoughtful gourmet lunch and charcuterie boards! He thought of everything! Highly recommend this activity.

Excellent bike tour for moderate bike riders. Can do mild but would need e-bike and familiarity with gear changing.

This was an excellent bike tour! William did great in taking care of everyone and the individual needs of the group. For those who are older and/or less familiar with bike riding (i.e. changing gears, hills, etc), I'd highly recommend the e-bike (pedal assist). I'm glad I went with the e-bike since I'm only a beach cruiser bike rider who can do ok with mild moderate occasional hills with gears. While my elderly Mom wanted to ride the bike, she didn't have the experience for this tour even with the e-bike. However William kindly took her in the van since he was taking it anyway due to the heat. It's a good 3.5 hours of off and on riding so be prepared for this duration depending on your level of biking experience and capabilities. The lunch and 2 wine tastings were a fantastic end to this amazing bike tour! The tour is inherently socially distant, clean, and a great activity during the pandemic to get out, enjoy the outdoors and see people!!!
