Overview
Set sail for Tayrona aboard a 17-meter (56-foot) yacht with this excursion. Your bilingual captain, Luis, will take you and a small group of up to 25 passengers to the coastal park. Once in the park, you will have time to swim, snorkel, sunbathe, or hang out on the beach, and return to Santa Marta in the late afternoon.

If there is one thing you do in Santa Marta it would be to take this sailing tour. It far exceeded our expectations. The crew were amazing and continuously checked on you and offer food/beverages. I got to sail the boat all the way to Tayrona park from the marina. I was in my element. Snorkeling was good but you do need to dive down to see the fish. Perfect day. Thank you Louis.

We booked after reading the great reviews and we were not disappointed. The entire experience was excellent. It was easy to find the marina and the company found us right at the entrance to the marina. We spent a lovely day out on the water with Luis and his crew. Everyone was so nice, helpful, and got us whatever we needed. Everything was excellent from the lunch to the snorkeling to the water skiing (which we had never done and my 8 year old loved). Another review mentioned being disappointed that you go out on a sailboat but don’t actually sail. That is true, but that also allowed us to sit wherever we wanted on the boat and move around without worrying about getting in the way or getting hit with something. All in all we had an excellent time. Luis’ niece Samary was also so lovely and helpful. And on top of all of that, it was extremely affordable for our family of 4 to do this. I highly recommend sailing with Luis and his crew if you have the chance.

Luis and his team and fantastic, taking care of everything you could want / need.
The ride there & back on the sailboat was perfect, the lunch was delicious, and our English speaking tour guide, Marco, literally spoke the best English of any Colombian I've met -- including my Spanish professors.

It was a great tour! The lunch was nice and the staff were great. We had asked for an English tour guide and we got one that spoke very little. We were looking for more information regarding the Park!

The staff is truly great. Very helpful and welcoming. Everything we needed was being arranged. Great spot we visited and the boat is really nice too.

Due to a scheduling mixup we ended up doing a different tour (speedboats to Cinto/Cristal/Concha) but it was great. Luis's team on the boat didn't speak English but one of the other passengers translated on the rare occasion that we didn't understand something. Hot tip: if you can grab the back-left seats those are the most shaded and comfortable.
