We would not recommend that Viator use Chile Car Service. We were met at the airport by Sergio as planned. However, we booked three more pickups with him from our hotel to the airport two days after arriving in Santiago the hotel had to call him to find out if he was coming as he was 18 minutes late and never attempted to contact us, we did get an apology but no reason for being late. We also booked a pickup at the airport to our hotel for a few days later--- Sergio never showed up. When a travel agent called him for us to ask if he was at the airport or on his way he remembered us then hung up on the agent, leaving us abandoned at the airport and never tried to contact us to explain or apologize. We used TransVIP to get back to the hotel. The last pick up we scheduled with him was for a return to the airport from the hotel -- he sent an email the night before wanting to know if we still needed a ride at 5am -- the time was a 5:30 pickup.
We told him because he abandoned us at the airport we found someone else--again no apology or explanation was offered.. One mistake we made was thinking we were still dealing with Viator when we were actually dealing with him directly. We are concerned this type of action could happen to someone else. We urge you not to use this vendor in the future.
