Begin your day with a 9am pickup from your central Santiago hotel and meet your guide and small group of up to 15 people. Leave the city behind and soak up the scenery as you head north and wind through the vineyards of the Casablanca Valley.
The first stop of the day is at the Emiliana Organic Vineyards, famously the first winery in Chile to obtain organic and biodynamic agriculture certification, and now the world’s biggest producer of organic wines. Learn more about the production process of the organic and biodynamic wines as you follow the winemakers on a tour of the vineyards and production rooms. Then, indulge with a wine tasting and sample up to four different wines, including the premium red Coyam.
Stop for lunch (own expense) at a popular local restaurant and tuck into some delicious Chilean cuisine amid the vineyards. Then, continue to Bodegas RE vineyard, a family-run winery that uses unique clay amphorae, French oak barrels and Italian fudres to create their wines’ unique flavors. Have chance to taste some of the winery’s top wines, including some unexpected blends, paired with a platter of cheeses, olives, and balsamic oil – all made at the estate.
With a belly full of food and wine, it’s time to return to Santiago, where your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel around 3pm.
