Great tour for beginners! Our 2 hour lesson was with 2 instructors for 4 people. After the drive and picking up equipment, there is still around 5-6 hours to ski/snowboard. Also note you can hire all equipment including snow pants and jackets on the day.
It is a long way to get there but the ski centre was very nice. We were at the beginning of the season, during the week, so it was very quiet on a perfect sunny day. The ski rentals can be better.
I do not recommend this unless you've never skied before. They provide all gear and ski wear, but force you to take a lesson and then the lift ticket you are provided is not good for the entire mountain and is only good for the most basic trails. I also made contact on multiple occasions to confirm the pick up from Santiago and they only spoke spanish, so I had to get the hotel to make those calls.
Among all the Viator tours we've done over the years, this is the worst! We were picked up over 30 minutes late from our hotel. Our ski instructor only spent 10 to 15 minutes with us. From the moment we started, the ski instructor told us he didn't have much time so he showed us the basics and told us to practice on our own. Our tour guide also didn't set expectations - he left us with the ski instructor and didn't tell us what time he would come back to pick us up! Going with this tour operator is not worth it at all.
