See an idyllic Oia sunset from the Kastro — the Venetian castle ruins atop Santorini. Take a break from Santorini’s beaches as a professional guide whisks you away for the day. You'll discover the archaeological site at Akrotiri (admission at own expense) and learn the significance of these Minoan excavations as you stroll along its main street. Then enjoy free time in Pyrgos and hear about the history of the island’s ancient capital, before watching the sun descend over the Mediterranean Sea.
Except the winery part of the tour everything was really nice!
It was a great tour, but too many people in Oia
What were the odds of my friend's and our tour guide (alex's) birthdays fall on the same date?! next to nothing. Alex was really good. He knows a lot about Santorini. He was very accomodating and he always checked on us, making sure that no one was left behind. Got a couple of celebratory drinks at beach as well courtesy of our birthday boy— our tour guide Alex. Cheers!
FANTASTIC especially the sunset, as you have free time instead of roaming around it would be wise to get to the Oia Sunset view point as the tour guide will tell you how to get there, and get there early because it gets crowded quickly
O tour é muito bom. O fato da guia falar inglês e espanhol, de forma clara e pausada, também ajudou bastante.
This tour makes you experience everything Santorini has to offer. From beaches to archaeological sites, from quaint villages to happening city centers, from wineries to mystical sunset.....EVERYTHING!! Our tour guide was very professional yet friendly and made sure that we enjoy every part of the trip. We are glad that we took this tour
The tour was really lovely and fun. Made the booking through viator.com and was really easy. One tip though is that you should bring a copy of your tour confirmation. I forgot mine but they accepted the email confirmation from my phone. The tour started on time and the tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Santorini. The ancient city of Akrotiri and the excavation site was one of the places that I really enjoyed including the wine tour where the view from the balcony was truly breathtaking. Tour ended up with a sunset view from Oia which was a very nice way to end the tour.
First things first, booking was easy. Communication was timely and precise. Pick-up location was easy to find. The tour started on time. Giorgina the tour guide was very knowledgeable, informative funny and have plenty of stories about the history of Santorini. There was plenty of time for sightseeing as well as free time on your won. We enjoyed our tour. This is highly recommended to everyone who is visiting Santorini.
The walk through the excavation site of Akrotiri and through the traditional village of Megalochori were the highlights of this trip. We were already staying in Oia so the visit there was not new however, if you are not staying in Oia, you have to see the village. It is built into the side of the cliffs and is a maze of cobblestone walkways. Lots of climbing of steps, but the sunset view is awesome.
we were very lucky to be on this tour with the amazing tour guide, unfortunately that was supposed to be her last day with the tour company. She was incredibly funny, and detailed in her guide.
Absolutely enjoyed the tour, the more I learned about Santorini the more I Was in love with it.
