This was an excellent introduction to the unique vinticulture of Santorini, and a great education for my palate and olfactory senses. There were just four of us in the cooking class and we whipped up four great local dishes: Santorini salad, fava bean puree, pork cutlets vinsanto, and tomato fritters. Good wine, good food and good company....all in all a perfect day.
My husband and I very much enjoyed this day tour. We learned, we sampled, we cooked, and we would highly recommend!
My son and Ioved this tour. The guide was very knowledgable and interesting. The wine and food was amazing. The tour was well organized and the transportation was comfortable.
Highly recommended. It was even better than we had hoped it would be. Our tour guide was exceptional - very knowledgable!! The cooking class was our favorite part, and the meal was decided the best one we had in all of Greece!!!
Dennis and Chef Chris were amazing. There were copious amounts of food and wine and we will definitely be making some of the recipes at home. Dennis was very knowledgeable about the wines.
Dennis as the best wine tour guide that I have ever had. I have done a lot of wine tours, but he was truly the best. He was engaging and extremely knowledgeable. And the cooking class was wonderful followed by an amazing meal.

What an indulgent way to spend a day! Beautiful wines and amazing food! We learnt so much about wine tasting and the different wines specific to Santorini. Our tour guide was so friendly and knowledgable. We visited three wineries which included cellar tours and nibbles/food pairings. Tour ended with a cooking class at the final winery Artemis Karamolegos. Chef was a superb teacher and we had so much fun. We got a copy of the recipes we cooked. Following this the chef then prepared a three course meal for the group which was absolutely divine! The tour went for approx 8 hours instead of 5 so don't make dinner reservations for after the tour, you won't need it anyway with the constant wine top ups and bountiful food! Highly recommend this tour!

Denis was incredible. You will not regret booking this super intimate, incredibly educational, but mostly fun wine tour and cooking class. You can do, eat and drink as much as you like or as little as you like. The scenery is incredible and the guide can't be beat. Worth every penny end of story.
The tour and our guide was amazing. The wine tour and cooking class were great. They exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend it. The guide also took us for a beer tasting at Donkey Brewing and to the highest point of the island. These were nice additions to our trip. Wonderful day.
What a blast! Our driver and wine guide, Eliassp? was extremely knowledgable and fun. We visited Boutari and Gavalas for tours and education and then Karamegalos for wine and cooking class. We ate while cooking and then were surprised to be seated for another meal of all of the foods we helped prepare. It was too much food, but an amazing experience. We enjoyed meeting the other six people on the tour with us and are greatful that the experience taught us so much about Santorian wine.
The only issue I had was trying to find the meeting point... We were supposed to meet near a hotel, but addresses don't exist there, which made it super difficult. Luckily, after we missed the mini bus, we called from our hotel and they sent a driver back for us!
We met up with the rest of the group at the second winery, and quickly got caught up! Haha! Nobody liked the vinsanto wine which tastes like ice wine, so everyone gave theirs to my husband and I. :
We had some great wine at each winery, and even made a stop at the Santorini Brewing Company! The tour guide and our driver were fantastic! I felt a little spoiled by all the food, wine and great company. The cooking class was a lot of fun just us and one other couple... We had a lot of wine by this point. Then we got to sit down and were served more of the food, and two bottles of wine! PLUS dessert which we didn't make.
This was one of the best parts of the trip! Definitely would recommend!
We had a fantastic time! We went with a small group to two wineries, which was fun to meet new people. The guide was great and very knowlegdgable about the vinyards. The two of us then broke off from the group for a private cooking class on the beach! We had a blast and the food was amazing!

The white wines were great! The vineyards aren't particularly pretty since they need to grow the grapes lower to the ground. The food we cooked was really good and fun! If you are limited on time in Santorini, I would do the sunset catamaran tour and/or a private driving/walking tour before I did this excursion but this was still fun.
We really enjoyed to tour. Our guide was wonderful and extremely knowledgeable about the different wines. We also enjoyed to cooking class and loved everything that we prepared. I would definitely recommend this tour.
I think this tour was really worth doing, you drink a lot of wine, and our tour guide Ilias was amazing. However if the cooking part is what you're after as it was for us, you don't actually do much cooking, just a bit of chopping with plastic knives. It makes sense really - as you've been drinking wine - best not to go to close to hot oil or sharp knives. I might have booked a trip without the wine tour in order to really get cooking. In saying that, we still had a great time, and it was great watching Chef Mario work and share stories with us.
WE HAD A GREAT DAY, BEAUTIFUL WINE KNOWLEDGABLE GUIDE COOKING CLASS WAS FUN BUT WOULD HAVE LIKED MORE ENVOLVEMENT WITH THE PREP AND COOKING, OVERHAUL A FUN DAY.

The wine tour was good but not great however we enjoyed our time with the group of people and the wines were good. They were mostly white wines, so if you only like red, this may not be the tour for you. The cooking class was disappointing as we only got to chop vegetables and not really cook. The chef does the cooking and you mainly just watch. The food was very good and the restaurant is very quaint and nice. The tour was suppose to be five hours but we were there for seven hours. Our tour guide took the group who did not do the cooking class home as we were finishing up and then when he returned he sat in the back to eat a meal. We were left to wait longer then should have been necessary. This could be a great tour but it definitely needs changes to be made.
