perfect food on the trip, very friendly driver, clean car, great tour programme. We enjoyed every minute of it, thanks to the interesting places we visited and the comments of our guide/driver. As we are a group of photographers, the guide showed us the best spots to make our pictures

Lunch was very mediocre and seemed like the run of the mill mass tourist restaurants. A lot of information shared by the guide was repeated multiple times and often in different ways, which made the guide seem less knowledgeable about his island.
Though the guide had a tough group to work with. One party was recovering from surgery, and another couple barely spoke English, which made it difficult for the guide to properly interact with the whole group.

After completing the trip to the eastern part of San Miguel, I immediately confirmed the booking of the trip to the western part with the same company. Luckily, we had another good guide, Filipe who took us to appreciate the cultural places in Porte Delgada and the stunning views in Sete Cidades and Mosteiro. It was such an amazing trip. Filipe is energetic and helpful person with great passion to his job. He did a great job as a driver and a tour guide and made everyone in the group happy. I highly recommend this company if you want to explore San Miguel in your first trip to Azores.

What a great ambassador Joao is to San Miguel! He took 2 couples, of which 3 of us have mobility challenges on a great tour of the western island. He knew what the weather was going to do that day and arranged the tour so we had the least amount of rain - it only rained when we were coming down the hill from the Lake of Fire and we looked back over from where we had come and it was very stormy up island! A very patient and caring person, he ensured we were comfortable and for myself, I had a lunch that I was not allergic to! The lunch was wonderful - served family style (except my chicken) the "cows milk" cheese was unbelievable! So fresh and creamy! Then the pineapple for dessert that is grown on the island was a wonderful surprise along with the beverages produced also on the island. Thanks for a great tour!

Words cannot describe how much of an incredible day this was. Miguel was the perfect host - so friendly, and he knew so much about the island and all its flora and fauna. I was lucky to have such a lovely group, and that the weather was sunny for most of the day. We had totally unobstructed views of everything! I could have cried when I saw Sete Cidades, they were that beautiful. Lunch was also fantastic, considering it was included it was such good value for money: sea view, fresh fish and even some pineapple and tangerine liquer to finish. Finished the day with a whole new appreciation for the island - thank you so much!
