As a chef and solo traveler, I am always looking for 'food' activities. This program, held in the Pinheiros district of Sao Paulo, at Receitaria Escola Gourmet, was well-organized and pleasantly run by a young and fun, English-speaking staff. The four hour class covered 4 traditional Brazilian dishes and offered sufficient hands-on experience and time to 'talk' food and culture. The location is excellent; the facilities clean and spacious; and I highly recommend it for solos and small groups who want a fun and educational activity in a beautiful neighborhood. The dishes were delicious and you learn so much about the Brazilian culture. Marina explains each step and I can't wait to make these recipes back home. The kitchen was clean and well organized. This was the best part of my trip to Sao Paulo.
