I really enjoyed this day tour. My tour guide, Luiz, was timely, friendly and very knowledgeable. My Portuguese needs a lot of work so it was nice to have someone explain the sites and history to me in English. The beaches were beautiful, the coffee museum was very interesting and the food was very good. Thanks to Luiz, I had an enjoyable trip and got some pointers on Portuguese grammar.
We had a fun time with Adi Zegman, our guide, who was good enough to go out of his way to pick us up at CGH, spend a long day showing us around and deliver us safely to our hotel with undeflagging graciousness and good spirits. It was a long drive to Santos but Adi kept up with interesting conversational exchanges on Brazilian history, culture and life in general while pointing out landmarks and landscapes in particular.
The only disappointing experience was the coffee tasting at the much-touted Coffee Museum. It was not up to par! The server did not prepare sufficiently hot water and when we complained about the tepid and mediocre beverage results, she blamed it on the cooling breezes without offering any apology or compensation except for one tiny robust cup that our guide managed to get her to redo to save the day.
The beaches, on the other hand, were stunning as expected. Thank you Adi.
This was a wonderful experience. Our tour guide was timely, friendly and extremely helpful. It was so nice to have someone speak English and be able to help guide us for the remainder of our time in Sao Paulo. The beaches were beautiful, the coffee museum very interesting and the food tremendous. Thanks to Joe, our tour guide and our Rotarian friend who recommended the tour.
Our tour guide was the best part of the trip. She was very knowledgeable and gave us great information. The car was clean and comfortable. The beach was amazing! The coffe experience was a bit of a disappointment. It was just a museum where you could purchase coffee. I would forgo the coffee part.
We had a wonderful day with our tour guide and our trip to Santos and the beaches. Despite heavy traffic, the norm, we had a nice trip to the beach and returning. The weather was great and our guide was very friendly with a super grasp of English. She was very interested in travel and sport so we had a lot to talk about. She was from Santos so she was very knowledgable about the área, its history and its landmarks. She was also on time nd picked us up at the correct hotel.
Marinella was our tour guide. She was fantastic. She made sure we knew the day was all about us and what we wanted to get out of the tour. She took us to the best beach, Tombo on Guaruja. It was wonderful that she offered to stay with our bags while we explored the beach. This trip is beautiful.
