We learnt to make soba the traditional way from Mrs Haruko. Instructions and tips were easy to understand. When we had questions, our taxi driver or Mrs Haruko’s daughter (Hitomi-san) helped translate. Afterwards we had our freshly-made soba and soba-yu for lunch. Service was great from start to end

I signed up for this tour and took my two sons 29 and 23. We had a wonderful time. Very enjoyable. The two woman who taught the class were delightful. Enjoyed the lunch that followed as well. Would highly recommend this tour.

A large group of 8 people did this tour together. We travelled to the location in Chitose in 2 taxis which was very comfortable. The course was great. Despite the language barrier we got along fine and made some great soba noodles under the instruction of our 2 soba chefs. Later the family cooked them up for us and we sat around the kitchen table and demolished the noodles in their delicious broth. I thoroughly recommend this tour. We all enjoyed it immensely. Thank you to our great taxi drivers that served as our translators and to the soba instructors and their helpers. What a wonderful memory!
