We really lucked out on this tour. Our guide, Country, was knowledgeable, professional, and personable. She was full of wonderful stories! The restaurants/taverns that we visited offered such delicious Southern treats: shrimp and grits, pork belly slider, she crab soup, honeycomb, cupcake, sweetbread. It would have been nice if we could have had coffee tastings or ice cream Leopoldo. Or maybe that's a different tour. Hmmm...

Absolutely wonderful!! Our guide, nickname of Country, was charming, fun and gave us the inside scoop on places on the tour, as well as shopping suggestions and restaurants for later in the trip. It was a history tour, but mostly in the sense of food history, which is a perspective that other tours don't cover. Even the kids 13 and 17 loved it. We would happily go again, if the tour company had another group of restaurants to showcase.

We had 7 tastings with a wide variety of Savannah favorites. Our tour guide entertained us with many historical stories as we walked from venue to venue. It was a great way to get a taste of Savannah while learning a bit of its history. It is always fun to meet new people from all over the US.

Hands down, one of the greatest ways to get a taste of many of the delights Savannah has to offer, with some history sprinkled on top for good measure! Our guide was terrific, knowledgeable, and patient with the group we had. He had a great sense of humor and lots of local insights and recommendations that we tried and loved! My husband and I look back on this experience as one the best things we did on our stay in Savannah! Thanks!!
