This leisurely 3-hour walking food tour begins on bustling River Street in Savannahs Historic District, along the Savannah River. After a meet and greet with the guide, its time for a flavorful and fun adventure, covering almost 1.5 miles.
Visit seven specialty food stores and restaurants in the area to sample the fresh flavors of the local cuisine. Theres seafood bisque, shrimp and grits, shepherds pie, pork belly sliders, delicious cupcakes, gourmet honey and artisanal salts.
Some of the establishments that may be included on the tour are Savannah Bee Company, Molly MacPherson's Scottish Pub and Grill, the Salt Table and The Ordinary Pub.
This tour concludes near the City Market, the commercial and social center of historic Savannah since the early 1700s. Explore this 4-block area of restored warehouses and store fronts adjacent to Ellis Square, perfect for shopping, dining or just relaxing the rest of the day away.
I wouldn't really count it as a cultural tour, but it was a great tour with a lot of delicious food. We hit a lot of different restaurants with a variety of samples. My only complaint is that at one of the stops, they get so busy on the weekends, we have to take our food to go. It was hard to eat and walk at the same time, however, overall, I would definitely recommend this tour for a taste of what Savannah has to offer.
Wonderful food from 7 restaurants! Nice walk, with a historical perspective. We had several questions from our great guide and she answered them all. I would highly recommend this tour! Not a difficult walk, but did include steps.
Excellent tour, Brenda was awesome!
The food was great, and our tour guide was excellent!
This tour is amazing! Just the right amount of food and history at each stop. Our tour guide, Lauren, was well-spoken, intelligent, and definitely a foodie. I highly recommend this tour!
Great way to see Savannah, get some delicious tastes from local restaurants, and have a a little bit of area history!

Most Excellent, and Tasty, Too!!
Country was our guide and she was fabulous! We were a small group of 6 people and Country is an amazing story teller with a passion for food. We all really enjoyed the tastings and in particular the honey tasting. I would highly recommend this tour that gives you a bit of Savannah history as well as tasting some great food.
