Our tour guide Mike was awesome! This was by far the best tour! Very informative and great food!
Best thing we did in Savannah. Went to 6 restaurants and all the food was delicious. Now about our tour guide named Country she was very informative and extremely funny. This was not only a culinary tour but a history tour. If you are looking for something to do in Savannah try this tour.k
Great guide. Great food. Good history of Savanna.
We really lucked out on this tour. Our guide, Country, was knowledgeable, professional, and personable. She was full of wonderful stories! The restaurants/taverns that we visited offered such delicious Southern treats: shrimp and grits, pork belly slider, she crab soup, honeycomb, cupcake, sweetbread. It would have been nice if we could have had coffee tastings or ice cream Leopoldo. Or maybe that's a different tour. Hmmm...
Savannah is a great town and if you want a good introduction to the culinary fare of this city, this tour is perfect. This tour allows you to visit 7 different eateries for one meal. The walk is pleasant and our guide, John, was exceptional. He kept the group moving without hurrying anyone. He was knowledgeable and entertaining. The food was delicious and diverse and really represented Savannah. I would certainly recommend this tour.
Loved this tour - one of the best! Lisa was an awesome tour guide. The food was incredibly delicious and top notch quality. Great experience and excellent value for the money!
Absolutely wonderful!! Our guide, nickname of Country, was charming, fun and gave us the inside scoop on places on the tour, as well as shopping suggestions and restaurants for later in the trip. It was a history tour, but mostly in the sense of food history, which is a perspective that other tours don't cover. Even the kids 13 and 17 loved it. We would happily go again, if the tour company had another group of restaurants to showcase.
We had 7 tastings with a wide variety of Savannah favorites. Our tour guide entertained us with many historical stories as we walked from venue to venue. It was a great way to get a taste of Savannah while learning a bit of its history. It is always fun to meet new people from all over the US.
This was a fantastic introduction to the exciting city of Savannah and its historical and culinary treasures.
We would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, tasty and informative glimpse of Savannah. The variety of food sampled
was impressive and our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining.
The guide was great, informed, terrific food and drink!
