Maria was fabulous. We went to great places that we would have never found on our own. And we had more enough to food to sample. Everything was delicious. We did not even need dinner that night. We got a little bit of the history, with some humor thrown in. It was a great tour and we were very glad we did it!

We loved Country! You would think she was Ms. Savannah with all that charm. She knew a lot about the city, the food, and the community. She made us feel very welcome and made sure our bellies were full. You have the option to indicate if you were vegetarian/gluten free/whatever food issues preferences you may have, but it looked like one person in our group forgot to do that, but that was no obstacle for Country! She found alternatives for him. I will warn you, this is not a diet friendly tour. It is heavy on the carbs. The good thing is that you walk a lot, so you get to make room for even more food.

The tour was very informative and fun. We had a small group which made it that much more intimate and allowed for more interesting conversations with the tour guide. Savannah is a beautful place and I will return again to continue to investigate all of the little restauraunts and bars off the beaten path.
