Country, our tour guide was terrific. She was very knowledgeable, spunky and was very funny - she could easily do stand up comedy!
We tour a lot of tours as we travel and this was one of the best.

The food was awesome but our guide, Country, really made the tour the most memorable part of our trip. She was personable, funny and told great stories and jokes.

Great tour and awesome guide, Country. The food stops were excellent, well chosen and prepared for our arrival. My husband and I have taken many tours all over the world, and this was one of the best..mainly because of our guide. She was knowledgeable, kept our tour on track, but mainly her personality was stellar. She was a true southern gal, welcoming and gracious...and funny. Great tour, different from the usual mainly historical...although there was plenty of historical facts along our route. Great fun.

Loved the history and the walking. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and fun. Also, I was blown away by the blueberry sausage at Smith Brothers Butchers and the BBQ at Wall's. This walking tour is a winner!

We had a delightful time on our tour. The young lady, leading our group, was very knowledgeable, sharp, and quick witted.
The stops we made featured wonderful taste treats and left us very satisfied. Weather was HOT and Steamy, but rain cooperated
nicely and held off until we were almost back to the butcher shop. We would certainly do this again....Hopefully not on the same
route.

The guide makes the tour. The food was excellent and we were very full at the end of it. I wish I could recall our tour guide's name as she was so spunky and animated and she really added to the success of our tour. I had forgotten I'd even sighed up and my friend and I were at St. John the Baptist's Cathedral. We'd just exited when I got a local call. She asked me if I was planning on taking the tour and then if I was even in Savannah. I found this humorous. And as it turned out we were fortunate enough to be right around the corner from her so we only held up the tour about 13 minutes. This tour ended up being even more enjoyable since we didn't even know we had one and our tour guide is incredibly knowledgeable about Savannah's history. I highly recommend this company and this tour. I do wish we'd received a listing of the places we went, but I do remember the Wall which was this delicious BBQ place off a back alley. We also enjoyed a small salad at a farm-to-table place but I don't recall its name. Anyway, I highly recommend this tour you won't be disappointed.

The Savannah Food Tour was amazing! Our guide was Country who seemed like a long lost cousin - she was so fun! And the food was incredible. I kept thinking I couldn't eat another bite and everything was so delicious I just had to. We were celebrating my boyfriend 's bday and we our granddaughter with us - all of us were very entertained and learned a lot about Savannah 's fascinating history. We would definitely repeat this tour, and I can't say enough great things about Country. Thanks from the Redhead and her family!

This tour was absolutely perfect. We went to 6 different restaurants and had a taste of a variety of things. Our tour guide Maria was awesome and filled us in on all the local back stories as we went. It took about 3 hours and even though it was very hot, over 90, we enjoyed every minute. We liked it so much we made dinner reservations for the next night at Cha Bella which was one of our stops. I would recommend this for anyone who wants a great historic, food tour.

I'm a foodie, love beautiful architecture and enjoy good stories. This tour combined good food, walking around Savannah's beautiful historic district and fun historical facts about the food, city and historical antedotes. Thanks to this tour I tasted good food of some restaurants not on the usual tourist guides. Savannah is a lovely, quaint city full of charm. The people are laid back and friendly.

Country 'yes that is her name lol' was a great tour guide. Every time we come to Savannah we find new hidden food gems and Country knows exactly where they are. We will tour again and ask for her again!!

We started at a butcher shop and I didnt think we were getting anything there but they had a big table for us with ice water. They came out with two wooden butcher blocks with three different kinds of sausage. One was spicy which I didnt try, another was blueberry which was very nice and would make a nice breakfast sausage. The other was Italian and would be good in spaghetti and was also good. They also brought out two bowls of roasted beet dip made with cream cheese with pieces of French stick bread to dip in the bowl. It was very good as well. Our next stop was really a hole in the wall bar-b-que joint that only locals know about. We had a half of a pork bar-b-que sandwich and ice water there. It was only open for us so we had the place to ourselves. The next stop was a bakery where we had a nice area to sit in and they came out with a tray of pimento cheese on puff pastry made with cream cheese. Then we were off to a picnic in the park. She left us and went to a place to pick up a chicken sandwich which had two sauces that she poured over the top. It was cut up so she passed out a piece of the sandwich to each of us. It was good. Their saying is Hell Yea. Billy got lucky and got a second piece as he really liked it. Our next stop was for fried chicken at a gas station that had all kinds of food products. Unfortunately, it was a drumstick which I dont care for. They had picnic tables outside that we sat on. Our last stop was for a piece of waffle with whipped cream and peach slices on top which was really good. This tour was the best value for money we have ever done. Country was the best tour guide I have ever had. She told lots of jokes and was very informative. We loved this tour.

Our tour guide's name was Country and she was! Her great personality and knowledge is why we book and take tours!
Highly recommend. If you have a rental car, you can park it near the first stop on Saturdays free, go early. Suggest taking
paper and pencil for all the recommendations unless you have a great memory.
