Possible locations include Zunzi's Takeout, 17Hundred90 Inn & Restaurant, Mirabelle Cafe and Wall's BBQ. Bring your appetite and begin your walking tour on Savannah's famed Liberty Street. As you stroll through some of the many peaceful, pretty squares on the district's east side, your knowledgeable local guide will talk about Savannah's rich history, regal architecture and singularly southern culture. Your first stop will be East End Provisions. From there, make your way to other famous restaurants and some out-of-the-way finds, which may include Edgar's Proof and Provision, the Diplomat, Zunzi's Takeout and Leopold’s ice cream. Chat with the proprietors and enjoy tastings of both local and international favorites such as en papillote chicken sandwiches, flank steak, chicken and waffles and famous local ice cream. Some tasting locations also provide beverages, and you can bring other non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages (own expense) along on your tour. You'll find that the various samples from your tour add up to a satisfying lunch. You will walk about a mile Savannah's famous historic district during your 3-hour tour with plenty of tastings to break up the walk. Your culinary exploration of Savannah's most famous restaurants and best kept secrets ends only a few blocks from the starting location. I really enjoyed this low-key food and historical tour with Cindy. It started off with honey tasting at an adorable shop and then moved on to food, drinks and stories of Savannah. Everything was delicious! This isn’t a fancy chefy/foodie tour, which some may expect, but it does introduce you to some places that tourists would most likely overlook like amazing sandwiches at Zunzi’s. When I’m back in Savannah, I can’t wait to have a full meal at farm-to-table Cha Bella. Also, be sure to come on an empty stomach and enjoy a cocktail or two while you walk through the squares.

Way overpriced for what you got. Each place but one had less than a couple of dollars invested in the food. Very hot and had to ask for water at most places because they expected you to purchase their drinks. First place was honey tasting and a piece of cheese and 15% off any honey purchase. Really?

Picture advertising this tour is unethical…because it’s nothing like what we experienced. Unexpected mandatory 30 minutes sales pitch to buy honey constitutes your first stop. Most of the food stops had food that was an afterthought - prepared way ahead of time or overdone - served outside (without care) or in a dark basement of the restaurant with no explanation of the food. Our ice cream experience was basically the group standing on a sidewalk, across the street, while the guide gave us school size pre-packaged ice cream pod which we ate standing there while people walked around us. So disappointing if you’ve ever been on a really good food tour. oh and they take you all the way back to the honey store to end the trip, a trek. I would not recommend this tour at all.

There should have been no basements and the only outside dining should have been at restaurants with incredible outside dining spaces.
