What You Can Expect

Capitol Hill Food Tour in Seattle

Capitol Hill Food Tour in Seattle

This tour begins in Capitol Hill, home to Seattle’s most hip and happening food scene. Capitol Hill is known for its varied culture, and chefs and restaurateurs have migrated here to show off their culinary flair. Amid the wide variety of restaurants and cafes, there is a mix of night clubs, specialty boutiques and over 60 locally-owned coffeehouses.

Is it wrong to start with dessert? Of course not. Begin this Capitol Hill food tour at Cupcake Royale, the city’s first cupcake bakery and café. Try the homemade ice cream and varied selection of cupcakes.

Then it’s off to Eltana Wood-Fired Bagel Café. The cooks here roll bagels and flatbreads by hand and cook them in a wood-fire oven. Try one or a few of the Montreal wood-fired bagels with incredible homemade spreads.

Continue across the street to SOI Restaurant for some crispy pork Thai rice. Afterward, try spicy pork tacos with a Korean twist at Marination Station, the famous food truck featured on Good Morning America.

Head to Capitol Cider next, a multilevel tavern with 30 rotating ciders on tap. Soak up the vintage vibe, play some games and by all means, taste some cider.

Top off the tour with a stop at Rachel's Ginger Beer, where you'll treat your sweet tooth to a unique ginger beer float. Your tour ends a few short blocks from the departure point.
