Following a hotel pickup, enjoy a 25-minute drive from Seattle to Boeing, the world’s largest aerospace company, and their enormous factory north of the city in Everett.

Upon arrival for the Boeing Future of Flight factory tour, explore the interactive exhibits and displays in the 28,000-square-foot Aviation Center Gallery. Then take a 90-minute tour with a Boeing representative who will uncover the inner workings of the assembly plant where Boeing airplanes are manufactured, the largest building in the world by volume.

See planes like the 747, 767, 777 and 787 Dreamliner as they are being built and watch a short film that will further reveal how a plane is constructed from start to finish.

Then stop at the Future of Flight Aviation Center, with interactive exhibits to not only build a plane, but also fly it in a simulator.

*Hotel pickup seats are limited. If hotel pick-up is sold out, you will be asked to shift to the general pick-up spot.

It's a great tour - limited time and you can't take your phone or camera, but that's a Boeing restriction, well worth it !!

The tour was well organized from pickup to drop-off. Our tour guide Neil was outstanding. I enjoyed his company so much I booked a brewery tour for the next day with him. My only regret is that I didn't book the Boeing tour for a week day vice the weekend. The production lines were pretty much shut down, so not much action to see.

Bus picked us up at our hotel, our driver was Lucky. We were one of the first pick-ups, so we got a quick tour around Seattle while we picking up the other travelers, and Lucky pointed out different items of interest...we've been to Seattle many times, and saw things we hadn't seen before, so that was enjoyable. The trip to Boeing Field didn't take long and he gave us a history of Seattle, talking about the different industries that had shaped the area. When we got to BF, we had time to explore the Future of Flight exhibits on our own before we joined the larger Boeing tour, which had a different guide. We saw a short film, then headed by bus over to the different hangars, where we saw the different aspects of the airplane production lines. The building is huge...in fact, designated as the largest building in the world...so there is some walking involved...but it wasn't taxing. Lots to see and there was a lot of new information available. After that ended, we got back on Lucky's van for the trip back into Seattle...and he dropped us at our point of choice. Also loved the fact that this only lasted 4 1/2 hours or so...it wasn't an all-day trip, so we had time to do other things after it ended. Thoroughly enjoyed it!
