Mt Rainier Day Tour from Seattle

This Mt Rainier day trip begins with a convenient hotel pickup in the downtown Seattle, SeaTac, Tukwila and Renton areas on a 24-passenger mini coach. Then prepare for a narrated, scenic drive to the foothills of Mt Rainier National Park.

Stop at Longmire, the visitor center at the southwest corner of the park, to explore their museum and National Park Inn. Purchase lunch at the world-renowned Whittaker School of Mountaineering and watch a 30-minute slide show, presented by a Mt Rainier guide.

Visit Christine Falls, with one of the signature views in Mt Rainier National Park (look for the bridge). Walk along the Nisqually River up to Narada Falls, considered the most popular waterfall in Mt Rainier State Park. It’s taller than Niagara Falls at 188 feet. And enjoy Paradise, famous for its beautiful views and wildflower meadows some 5,400 feet above sea level.

Then it’s back down the mountain to take a return trip, with a new view, to Seattle.

A wonderful and relaxing day to get a taste of Mt Rainier. Our guide, Adam, was knowledgeable, friendly, flexible, and fun to spend the day with. The day was well organized and was the perfect way to end our trip to the beautiful Northwest! We can't wait to go back to Mt Rainier and spend some time hiking now that we know a little more about the area, thanks to this tour! Well worth every penny!

Mt Rainier is beautiful and worth taking the time to visit. I enjoyed hiking and seeing all the incredible waterfalls and wild flowers. Chris was very knowledgeable. Long bus ride home in traffic was the only negative. Great day spent out of the city.

WOW!!! So much information and so many picture perfect views. Driver made the full day trip worthwhile. The mountain if a beautiful place to spend the day. Clean facilities and friendly park employees. The waterfalls, the summit, trails and more took my breath away. I would definitely recommend this tour. Wear layers of clothes because the temperature changes as the clouds come in and out.

Fantastic trip to Mt Rainier
Very outgoing, helpful guide, Adam I believe
The shuttle had an engine problem on the way down the mountain. Adam handled it very calmly.
He also ensured that the couple w stadium tickets were not late, due to the engine problem. He arranged an Uber--and paid for it-- for that couple.
We were very impressed

Great tour! Our driver, Chris was personable and funny. He gave us tons of info during the drive. We had s lot of great scenic stops and Chris was wonderful about taking pictures of everyone. Although rather day started out gray and drizzly, as we left, the clouds cleared some and Chris stopped to let us out for some great views and pics of Mt Rainier. The mountain is spectacular and definitely a must see. Would recommend this tour to anyone.
