What To Expect

Your first stop is at Longmire at the national park’s visitor center. Sit back and watch a slideshow presentation, and learn some of the park’s history. You can also snag some lunch here (own expense).

Next, make your way inside the park, and admire its beauty as you first walk to Christine Falls and then further down the Nisqually River to the 188-foot-high (57-meter-high) Narada Falls. Lastly, stop at Paradise, and catch sight of its stunning meadows. Look up to see one of the Cascade Range’s and Washington’s tallest mountains, Mt. Rainier.

One of the best trips Ive taken

Ranger Ron was exceptional—a truly insightful, humble, and knowledgeable guide. He took us on a journey through some of the most beautiful spots in Mt. Rainier, making sure we had plenty of time to explore and enjoy each one. The day was packed with stunning sights and unforgettable experiences, thanks to his careful planning and deep knowledge of the area.

Ranger Ron was amazing!!! A great mixture of goofy and educating, we learned so much about Seattle’s wildlife and history. You get time with the group and solo hiking time, and Ranger Ron will make sure you get the best photos at his well picked “Ron Spots”. Excellent tour overall.

Loved the tour!!! Although we were unable to see Mt. Rainier because of the foggy weather, we did drive up to catch the first snow fall!!! It was such a beautiful experience! I will have to come back in the spring to be able to see Mt. Rainier.

Erika, our guide, tried her best to flex the trip itinerary based on the weather ensuring we had the best chance to enjoy sights around Mt. Rainier park. Dropping everyone at our respective hotels made it a personalized service.

It was a magnificent experience from the very beginning . We saw the sunrise , different shadows of nature and even began to snow when we were there. Awesome! But the best was that our tour guide Erika was so knowledgeable and keeping an eye on everyone in the group. . Well balanced comments and very nice personality to deal with all ages . It was a blessed day!

First quality of this tour was Ben's hospitality. Our guide was a competent story teller, taking good care of us and his stories were inspirational. The weather was dump and it was snowing but Ben was on top to do his best and show the most in this circumstances. Highly recommend!

We had the great fortune of having Ranger Ron as our guide. He was so knowledgeable. Not only did he share photos of Mount Rainier from his personal collection but also made us aware of the biology, geological and recent history of the park. We visited many special spots where he allowed time for photos including “Ron Spots.” We will be forever grateful for this memorable day.

I cannot begin to express how phenomenal this tour was. From start to finish, Gary educated us on Mt Rainer and Seattle. He was so accommodating, and made every effort to ensure we had the best viewpoint of this majestic region. He was sooo knowledgeable and very funny. I felt as if I was being entertained all day. Because traffic was at an all time high, he reversed the tour so that we would get the most bang for our buck. I can’t say enough about Gary! He made our experience so memorable. We take a LOT of tours, and this was the very best tour I have ever experienced. The beauty of nature abounds. We spent the entire day in awwww of nature. Thank you for your service. This was the highlight of our very first trip to Seattle.

Majestic Mountain; mediocre tour

While we enjoyed the trip, it wasn't the greatest experience. The tour guide was pleasant but didn't really talk much on the drive. Compared to other tours we've been on, our guide just wasn't imparting the same amount of information, stories, and background that we've had on other tours. BUT she did really try very hard to make sure we 'saw' the sights and Mt. Ranier. We had met a couple two days before on a tour in Oregon that warned us the Mt. Ranier tour was kind of boring and recommneded a different tour to Mt. Hood. I wish we had listened to them. We ended up having an amazing view of Mt. Ranier when we flew out of Seattle!

This tour was so much more than what I expected! The opportunities at the various stops to explore/hike some of the area was a definite plus. The scenery was beautiful. And our tour guide John was great! He was extremely knowledgeable, personable and took the time to interact with everyone on the tour.

Incredible experience and must do tour!! This trip exceeded expectations!! Gary was an excellent tour guide, very informative, funny, and personable. There were plenty of stops along the way for restroom breaks & grabbing snacks/food. The bus was comfortable and group was small enough to chat and meet other tourists. 10/10 recommend!
