A perfect day trip to the national park, with enough time to hike on our own for a couple of hours. Our guide was terrific.

Very best part of our visit to Seattle area. The driver was awesome, with knowledge of the area and a good sense of humor. We absolutely loved this tour to the base of Mt. Rainier!!!

We couldn't go up to the Paradise point. We went up to Cougar Rock and it started snowing heavily.
It was a great trip and our guide took us to some of the small attractions on the way, like the metal
artist, and everyone on the bus liked those.

It was a bit of a long drive getting there but the views of Mt. Rainier is worth it. There's a path that you would walk called Paradise that offers such breathtaking views of trees, flower and animals too. I see why they call it Paradise. I highly recommend this tour if you are in Seattle, it's a must see.

Aided by stunning weather this was a fantastic day out. Lucinda our guide/driver was full of interesting information on the area. Great food and comfort stops and kept us well informed of the options. The scenery is stunning, especially the autumn Fall colours and Lucinda knew all the best viewing spots. A long but very worthwhile day.

I really enjoyed this tour. Our driver was knowledgeable and chatted to us for the majority of the journey about things of interest.
What I don't get is why people talk to each other through this so it is sometimes difficult to hear. If you're not interested in finding out about the area, why go on such a tour? One lady was even talking on her mobile!
We had a number of comfort breaks and stops at places of interest too which was great. We stopped at a supermarket on the way out so we could purchase a picnic lunch or you could buy food at the Mount Rainier café if you preferred. A cold box was provided to put any purchased food in.
My only small gripe was that we were first to be collected and last to be dropped off which meant a very long day but they did their best by providing a second driver on arrival back into Seattle to help with drop offs at a busy time.

It was one of the best tours I've ever had. Our guide Mark kept telling us interesting details about about the Mt. Rainier the whole way. The spots we've seen were spectacular and we had some time to explor them hiking. Thank again to Mark! Very experienced, enthusiastic and engaging guide!

Even though it was raining and later sleeting, we had a great time. The tour guide was excellent. Knew his stuff and made sure we saw some sights. Very considerate.

Great day trip. Weather was amazing and our tour guide was excellent, very knowledgeable. Enjoyed the long lunch at Paradise. My wife and I took the challenging walk up to Glacier Vista which is good for your soul. Lunch options are very good.

We had Mike as our Mt. Rainier tour/guide. Mike was extremely knowledgeable about the area and willingly shared with us information to make our visit more enjoyable. If half the tour/guides are as caring and knowledgeable as Mike, then Viator Tours is one of the Best Tour Company to go with when visiting the Seattle area. Excellent, excellent! Thank you so much Mike.

This was our first time in Seattle and we wanted to see Mt. Rainier. We had the best fortune to have Mike as our tour guide! I was a little concerned when we booked this tour, although the reviews were excellent. I know my words cannot express how fabulous our experience was from the minute we met our guide. Mark is the best....in case you missed that....Mark is the best!! I have been on many cruises, land and sea excursions, and by far none come close to my Mt. Rainier experience. Mark has an incredible knowledge of Mt. Rainier his energy is over the top his help and guidance are so much more than expected or required. On a hike he held onto me down and up the trail because I was unsteady. Because of him and the way he conducts his tour an entire bus 24 became friends!

Fantastic tour. Mt Rainer was beautiful, and bus driver keen to give lots of information. Enjoyed this tour and the time spent in a beautiful unspoilt park. Many walking trails available for all levels of fitness.

This was a great trip to Mt. Rainier. We were picked up at the hotel downtown and it was a great day. The mountain was in full view - a gorgeous day. The week before our guide said it was enveloped in smoke from the fires in British Columbia. We were very lucky.
Highly recommend this trip.

Good trip no driving so you can view sights not the road and big enough that you never feel crowded in the park.

This was an outstanding tour!! We highly recommend it, though a long day...it is worth every minute. Our tour guide/driver, Mark, was fantastic!! He paced the drive to Mt Rainer with interesting narration, spaced restroom stops, photo opts stops, and even a grocery store stop on the way there as a suggestion for purchasing a box lunch. This was well appreciated when we arrived at the visitor center to find the snack bar sold 12 grilled cheese sandwiches and 18 burgers in a crowed, poorly ventilated building adjacent to the gift shop. We could enjoy our purchased lunches in the fresh air of the park...benches and tables were readily available. A gifted story teller, Mark helped us engage with the history, science, and environment of Washington State and the Mt Rainer region. He was attentive to our needs, was ready to take photos for us in what he knew to be the best viewing locations, and answered our questions with intelligence and insight. His passion for sharing his careful research on the story of Mt Rainer and his affection for meeting people was evident throughout the day. The park is beautiful!! The day we visited the sky was perfectly clear, offering a bright blue backdrop to the majestic white mountain. Wildflowers were bloomIng everywhere along the trails. We were given plenty of time to explore the park and walk our choice of trails on our own. Mark took time to make sure we were well oriented before he released us on our own. We even enjoyed a stop for huckleberry ice cream midway back to Seattle. If you want to see Mt. Rainer fairly up close and understand it personally, this is the trip for you!!
