What You Can Expect

Seattle Pre-Cruise Excursion: Highlights Sightseeing Tour

Seattle Shore Excursion: Highlights Sightseeing Tour

Start your 1.5-hour shore excursion of Seattle highlights with pickup at the cruise port. Hop inside your comfortable minibus and motor to downtown Seattle while your guide plays recorded tunes by Jimi Hendrix, grunge legend Kurt Cobain and other renowned musicians of Seattle.

En route, you’ll be entertained with humorous tales and historical tidbits about this favorite Pacific Northwest locale. Get a look at Pike Place Market and the waterfront as you’re driven to Pioneer Square and through Old Town and the Chinatown-International District, known locally as ID.

The drive takes you along Lake Washington to see the world’s longest floating bridge, then continues on to Lake Union via Capitol Hill. Your guide points out the floating home featured in the romantic comedy Sleepless in Seattle, and makes a stop for a photo op of the Fremont Troll, an 18-foot-tall (5-meter) public sculpture located under a bridge. See the University of Washington and disembark to enjoy views of the city skyline at Kerry Park.

You’ll catch a glimpse of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation building and Marion Oliver McCaw Hall — home to the Pacific Northwest Ballet and Seattle Opera. No trip to Seattle is complete without setting eyes upon the Space Needle, which you’re shown before returning to the cruise port.

5 star rating: Highly Recommended September 2017

This was a very wide range and leisurely tour of Seattle that ended at the boarding dock of our cruise. Our tour guide Chuck was both very knowledgeable and hilarious. We highly recommend this tour.

Loved this tour! Chuck, our driver was amazing, very informative and fun! I had my 18 year old with me and she could not stop laughing. Somehow we ended up on a day when there were no cruises, so we had a personal tour, he was very gracious even though it was only my daughter and I. He never missed a beat. It was our first time in Seattle and we learned so much, I'm sure we will be back!
