This was a fantastic tour of Pike Place Market. The food samples were delicious, filling, and rich, the tour gave us insight on the history and also accommodated my special diet as I don't eat meat. The interactions we had with retailers in Seattle were wonderful. I would recommend this tour to anyone who has a few days to spend in Seattle. It was a fantastic experience! :
A fun way to see the Pike Place Market and try some tasty treats along the way. Taylor was a great guide supplying us with history, cheesy jokes, recommendations as well as food. There are nooks and crannies to the market area I would have never found on my own. IF we were in the city longer, I would take the morning tour also.
I can't remember what our tour guide's name was! Alex? He was very funny (and punny) and originated from San Francisco. You're lucky if you get him! I wish I remembered his name. He was a great guide, keeping us entertained while spouting facts and interesting side stories about Pike Place. The entire experience was really made by him. We loved the food tastings and special deals, and one of our tour group members even got to catch one of the thrown fish! It was fantastic. This tour is highly recommended, because we got to taste so many things without waiting in long lines and we learned so much more than we expected to learn. The radios were easy to use and adjust the volumes and they worked really well. Overall an awesome tour.
Our tour guide was CJ. We found him to be knowledgeable, amusing and held our interest in the tour. We got to taste a number of excellent samples from the various vendors. We thought the tour was well worth the money. Should we be in Seattle again we would definitely take another tour with this company.
My husband and I really enjoyed this tour. It was a great way to get the lay of the land and know what we would want to circle back and visit on our own time. Carla was a very enthusiastic and informative guide.
Terrible! First the radios did not work. Our guide switched out a couple of units and ear phones but to no avail. There is no excuse for having bad equipment! It should be testedprior to the tour and enough working units should be available for all guests.
I was in the worst situation because my husband is handicapped and was using a scooter. The market was mobed and he had a hard time getting through the crowd. Not being able to hear the guide and keeping track of my husband made the tour impossible. Weleft the group about 10 minutes after it started. Not a good thing. I will think twice before going on a tour again!
