Interesting piece of Seattle History
, May 2019
It may not have the same breath-taking view as the Space Needle but the entire atmosphere of 1920s is all around you: the elevator decor and operation, the switch board/typist room, the police corruption of the prohibition era. If you like the history, you would find it more fascinated on the first floor then on the top observation deck. My only wish to the management - to update the photos on the observation deck to include more footnotes on building (and yes some of those photos are outdated) TIP: before you head down from the observation deck, there is a "photo booth" in the restaurant near the elevator doors so don't forget to capture FREE photos and email them to yourself :)
