    A Look into Space
    Federico_M, Dec 2022
West was just full of incredible information and a great instructor. Viewing the planets and galaxies was OK; viewing the planets were more impressive and memorable than galaxies but I understand the limitations.
    No other like this

I won’t lie it was very cold! But it was amazing! I saw 4 planets and far away galaxies. Totally recommend if you want something different

Cancelled due to weather. Don’t know how wonderful this activity could have been. I was so looking forward to seeing the night sky in the painted desert but apparently the weather was not cooperative. Just know this can happen to you.
    Excellent stargazing!
    Linda_D, Nov 2022
Viewing objects in space through the high powered telescope was amazing. Our guides, Christopher & Peter, did a great job. Word of advice…if going on a November, dress for warmth! It got very cold and the blankets only help when one is sitting!
    Inspiring skies!!!
    Diane_L, Nov 2022
The skies were amazing. Incredible!! Ted is a wealth of knowledge. Learned so much. They provide you with microscopes that they set up digitally so you do not need to have any experience. Stars, planets, constellations, nebulae… all around… awesome!! Ted and Brian were great guides! They also provided blankets when we visited in November.
    Must see!
    Susan_Z, Nov 2022
This was so awesome!! Excellent experience and opportunity to see stars and planet. Very knowledgeable astronomers!! Highly recommend!
    Starry night!
    Shari_S, Nov 2022
I had never seen the night sky so full of stars! Very educational program! Loved seeing the planets and stars in the telescope! Bring warm clothes. It did get cold and we could have used a few more layers for warmth.

Christopher, the astronomer, was great! Very informative and well organized. I had to call several times to get details of where to meet, but other than that it was all well worth it. Would definitely do it again.
    hayden_t, Nov 2022
The astronomer and his assistant were incredible, so informative, so entertaining. Excellent. Highly recommended.

    Jon_C, Nov 2022
What a ripoff. You are much better saving the outrageous $120 per person and looking up for yourself. The telescopes didn’t show much, the chairs did not recline so you could look up, they messaged last minute saying the trip had been moved up to 7:45 instead of the booked time of 8:30. Don’t do it.
Absolutely flawless execution of technology and guidance to the stars
    Patrice_W, Nov 2022
Wonderful guides - informative, open to questions. Excellent equipment that was all set up and in perfect working order. Clear sky-perfect conditions. Would suggest the 8pm booking. The tour after ours would have less of view to some of the sky due to the moon rising.
    Great, awesome, inspiring, informative
    Paula_L, Nov 2022
Seeing the stars and constellations and hearing all the information connected with them. Being able to see them up close and asking questions about them.
    Absolutely beautiful!
    Kristen_M, Oct 2022
We came to Sedona for our honeymoon and the stargazing tour was the perfect way to end our trip. My husband has always loved space, his ring is even made from the material of the satellites! It was a very clear night to see Saturn, Jupiter, mars and of course the Milkey way. Highly recommend!! Christopher and Owen were so polite and very knowledgeable!
    Cancelled due to Weather
    Valerie_N, Oct 2022
Tour was cancelled due to weather. No one’s fault, but I had to keep contacting the tour guide to get updates. It was cancelled pretty late in hopes the clouds would clear. Now, waiting on Viator for the refund. Viator needs a much easier way to report tours cancelled by the operator.
    Beth_P, Oct 2022
It was a mother/daughter/granddaughter trip. We had a lot fun and enjoyed viewing the night Sky!!! Very educational and enjoyed seeing Saturn and the Moon. Also learned where the North Star is located.
Interesting but did not care for the guide
    Jana_P, Oct 2022
The professor was extremely knowledgeable about astronomy. However, he came across arrogant to his assistant as well as the group. Blankets and comfy chairs were a really nice touch. We would have liked to have had the constellations pointed out to us in the beautiful night sky, which they were not. However, the professor needs to keep his political comments to himself. Saying, in a condescending tone, that he couldn’t resist making a joke about someone who asked him a question earlier in the day “because she wore a MAGA hat” was insulting, divisive, and made our group so angry that it pretty much ruined our evening. He needs to stick to astronomy when he’s getting paid for that, and not his negative and insulting political comments.

Disappointing Compared to Past Star Gazing Events
    Stephen_P, Oct 2022
No one answers the phone and their mailbox is full. Poor business/customer service! No description of what to expect, just drive out to this remote school parking lot, sit & wait. Astronomer was knowledgeable and tried but failed to connect by telling bad jokes. Three strong telescopes set up, no night vision goggles, etc. Nice that blankets were provided it gets cold, but no hot chocolate or coffee which would be nice considering the expensive cost of this experience.

Knowledgeable astronomer. Telescopes powerful enough to really see some amazing stars and planets. Very well organized .
    fun and worth the time
    Marilyn_B, Oct 2022
Astronomer was very knowledgeable and informative. Having throw blankets on each chair was a plus. Actually saw the rings of saturn
    Bad trip
    Richard_G, Oct 2022
The weather was beautiful ibut stargazing tour cancelled by guide and could not accommodate us very disappointing
    Response from Host, Oct 2022
It is disappointing when the rare customer rates us 1 star because the clouds prevent us from delivering an exceptional evening. We always try and 99 percent succeed in rebooking our guests. We always recommend booking early in your stay in case of clouds. Blaming us for clouds is simply unfair and hurts our small family run business.
