Be ready for morning pickup at your Sedona of Flagstaff hotel. Climb into a comfortable tour vehicle with your guide and group, then settle in for the ride through Oak Creek Canyon, widely known as one of the most scenic byways in the United States. 

Pass through Flagstaff and check out the lava flows at the base of Arizona's youngest volcano, Sunset Crater. Continue to see some Native American ruins at Wupatki National Monument, where you can get a peek into the daily lives of the area's earliest residents. 

Drive down to the Cameron Trading Post in the Navajo Indian Reservation, passing the colorful cliffs of the Painted Desert on the way. Eat lunch in the dining room, overlooking the Little Colorado River gorge, then shop for some souvenirs before heading for the main attraction: the Grand Canyon itself. 

Visit both the East Rim and the south Rim for photo ops, learning info about the history geology, flora and fauna about the natural environment. Stop in the Grand Canyon Village, Kolb Studio, and the Grand Canyon Railroad Station.

My husband and I celebrated our 10-year anniversary and took this tour. Sheldon was amazing! He was very entertaining and made it comfortable even though we were all strangers. He was very intelligent about his surroundings and had an answer to every question. If you go on a tour, this is the one! He took us not to the Grand Canyon but to where the volcano had erupted and you could feel the after math of that, to the native ruins where it just sends your mind to miles of thinking. He was so detailed and knew all of the best sightings around the Grand Canyon. Being at The Grand Canyon brings a sense of peace and tranquility, it's hard to explain so I guess you will just have to sense and feel that for yourself. Choose this tour for the information learned and sights visited are way better than you will see for yourself. And don't forget how important water is and check out snoopy would you?!

Andrea was an excellent tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and had a great personality and seemed to love her job. I really enjoyed the small stops along the way to the Grand Canyon. Unfortunately by the time we reached our main destination the weather turned cold and the wind was bitter but it was still worth it to see this beautiful national treasure.

The first view of the Grand Canyon was breathtaking. Our tour guide Steve was amazing and very knowledgeable about the entire tour ride from Sedona right up to the Grand Canyon. Didn’t rush us at all and he even drove us back to our place rather just dropping us of at the gate because it was raining. Will definitely recommend this tour and Steve!

Entering from the east entrance was what really made the tour ! Sheldon, our tour really made the tour outstanding for us . He was very knowledgeable about the Grand Canyon and also the history of the area . He also knew the best photo spots . Very hospitable!
