What To Expect

Board your tour vehicle upon pickup from your accommodation in Sedona or the Village of Oak Creek. Your day trip to Grand Canyon National Park begins with a scenic drive up Oak Creek Canyon via a National Scenic Byway. The road winds through pine forests en route to Flagstaff, with the option of hotel pickup there.

Entering the park on the western side of the South Rim, you're treated to sweeping views of the Grand Canyon, Bright Angel fault line, and the Colorado River at Yavapai Point. After a lingering glimpse and plenty of photo ops from the park's widest overlook.

Head to Grand Canyon Village, the Historic District at the South Rim, where you have time to purchase lunch and explore the area including the historic El Tovar Hotel, the Pueblo replica of Hopi House, art exhibits at Kolb Studio, and more. Take a walk along the canyon rim and search for giant California condors that call this area home.

Your tour vehicle continues eastward along the South Rim, to take in the vastness of the canyon. Find dramatic views from a variety of perspectives both inside and outside the Desert View Watchtower, designed by architect Mary Colter.

Departing the national park alongside the Little Colorado River Gorge, see more impressive views on a drive through the Navajo Nation en route to the historic Cameron Trading Post, known for its outstanding selection of American Indian arts and crafts. The cliffs of the Painted Desert provide a picturesque backdrop for this scenic stop before drop-off at your hotel in Village of Oak Creek or Sedona.

No Wrong Turns Canyon Tour!
Kimberly_F, May 2022
Other than hiking or sailing, this tour is probably the best way to experience The Grand Canyon National Park! Stevie B, our tour operator, knew the most scenic places to take in different views of the park while providing insight into the geological, physical, and biological histories, as well as present day happenings in the park. He catered to our desires as far as lunch, if people wanted to hike down a little into the canyon, etc. Steve was very personable which made enjoying the canyon even better! The drive to the canyon was just as enjoyable, viewing tumbleweed, volcanoes, snow capped mountains, shopping at a Navajo Trading Post, and just seeing so many other sites of nature. It’s a long day but worth every minute!
Great experience overall!

Al was the best! He is funny and informative. Also made sure we all had pictures taken— by him of course. Al brought us to beautiful sites and shops and gave us sufficient time. He was the best!

We were celebrating our 37th wedding anniversary and had a fantastic time with the Grand Canyon Tour. Stanton, our tour guide, was absolutely terrific. He was so enthusiastic, caring, funny, and knowledgeable with the history of the grand canyon. We were also comfortable with his driving and felt safe. He is an awesome tour guide.

If not for our guide we would have given a 2 rating we felt like sardines packed into the vehicle with such a long trip and few stops. Our guide was wonderful and did an awesome job.
Breathtaking!

This was a fantastic tour to the Grand Canyon! Sheldon was an amazing guide! He was so knowledgeable and never rushed us. There were fires, so we were not able to do part of our tour. Sheldon made sure we were able to see more of the Grand Canyon- with more stops! It was so cool! Highly recommend!
Worth every minute!
