What To Expect

After morning pickup from your Flagstaff hotel, travel through the gorgeous mountains surrounding Flagstaff and some of Arizona's most scenic landscapes.

Arrive at the Grand Canyon's South Rim and pause to take in your first views of the vast canyon from a viewpoint on the rim. Then continue along the 23-mile drive that skirts the rim of the Grand Canyon. This driving tour is the main event of the day, with incredible views of the canyon at every turn and endless photo ops. Stop at viewpoints along the way, and learn about the Grand Canyon's geology, wildlife, and history from your guide. Visit spots on the East Rim and South Rim, where Grand Canyon Village is located.

After the rim tour, stop to purchase lunch, take a short nature walk, or browse the souvenir shops before continuing along your drive. As you leave the canyon, pass through part of the large Navajo Nation and stop at the historic Cameron Trading Post, an authentic Navajo trading post. Browse the Native American arts and jewelry for sale, and hear more about the Navajo people.

Your tour winds down with a drive across the Navajo reservation, where you can see the Painted Desert and the Little Colorado River Gorge in the distance. Finally, return through the mountains to Flagstaff, where your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel in the early evening.

Our guide was funny and informative. Everyone felt comfortable together. The day was cloudy so the views were limited but we did see through a break in the cloud cover for a bit. The other stops and the information provided made it a great trip.
Grand Canyon or should it be Grand Gorge?

This tour was definitely worth the money. I cannot imagine doing this on our own. We would have missed so much. Ed was a bevy of information and very friendly. The weather was chilly and windy but very sunny. Perfect day for sight seeing.
Unforgettable Grand experience!

Everything about the day was absolutely wonderful. Kat was very knowledgeable and passionate in explaining her experiences to us. She really took care of us ,making sure we had ample time for bathroom breaks and through her knowledge of the Grand Canyon took us to the best viewing sights. My wife and I were in awe of the beauty and vastness of it all. Thank you for a great time!
A day that will not be forgotten!

The insight gained into the history of native tribes from the area was incredible. Guide Brian has a wealth of knowledge on a broad range of topics, including geology, history, anthropology, and specifically, the history surrounding the Grand Canyon. Moreover, his personality made us feel that we were the most important thing he had going that day. He was friendly, polite, courteous, and engaging. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and well worth the money.

I live in AZ, jointed this group with friend to avoid too much driving. I have high expectation to start with, and it's better than I expected. Another word, the driver did better job than I expected.
Beautiful Grand Canyon

The time spent at Indian reservation was longer then needed. Would have preferred to spend more time in Grand Canyon. Guide gave good information and was able to answer questions.
Acquinetta_C, Sep 2022
The most memorable part was seeing the Grand Canyon of course! It’s massiveness and beauty was serene.
