Begin your tour with convenient pickup at your central Seoul hotel around 9am. Climb into a tour vehicle and relax on the way to the Korean Folk Village, which takes about an hour.
Arrive at the village, which dates back to the Joseon dynasty, and is a collection of homes relocated from Korea's outlying provinces. Walk through the gated village, which allows you to travel back in time through viewing dwellings inhabited by noblemen, farmers, and commoners in the past. You'll see a 99-room mansion as well as straw-thatched cottages.
Stop by some traditional workshops, some of which you can opt to participate in for an additional fee. Watch craftspeople glaze pottery, loom silk, craft with bamboo, practice traditional Korean paper manufacturing, make pottery, and blacksmith.
Visit the marketplace to pick up some souvenirs, or try some authentic Korean food and drink. Watch a demonstration of a traditional wedding ceremony, see acrobats on a tightrope, or observe a music and dance performance.
At the end of your 2.5-hour visit, get dropped off at the Myeongdong Shopping District or your hotel.
