We very much enjoyed this tour of the Deoksugung Palace as well as the N Seoul Tower. The village was great too. David was a great host. In spite of the cold, he made it interesting and covered a lot of ground.
Had an amazing time! This was my first time back to Seoul since I was 8 years old. Our pretty tour guide Sonia, was friendly, fun, and knowledgeable. She spoke freely about any subject regarding Korea with surprisingly good English. Some may not like visiting any shops during the tour, but that's all part of the cultural experience. Learned a lot and so glad to have experienced it.
Our guide was very kind, friendly, and knowledgeable, we very much enjoyed the overall experience and would certainly strongly recommend it!
Mia was a great tour guide. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and was able to answer whatever questions we had, even if they weren't related to the tour. She also gave us great recommendations for food and entertainment for the rest of the trip. The ban ban chicken she recommended was amazing. You can't go wrong with her.
the tour was a very memorable one. we enjoyed it very much. thanks to our guide who can speak fluent English and very patient to narrate stories of the places visited. we had a good taste of the Korean food. its delicious.
it's wonderful Sunny our tour guide is very knowledgeable and speak very good English
We've had this tour on feb 03: cold weather but fine and memorable day however, thanks to Sunny as she was a nice, helpful and informative guide all day long.
We were on a three days stop in Korea en route to Fiji and Wallis Island from Paris, so we could not expect comprehensive visits of each monument or museum but we aimed at getting first glances at several sites of interest in Seoul, that this tour allowed us to fulfil.
We could appreciate Jogyesa Temple and Gyeongbokgung Palace, including the National Folkloric Museum, in the morning, ending with the relief of the guard, a performance actually led by students in traditional military dressing.
After lunch we had time for walking and shopping in Insa-Dong before Namsangol Hanok Village and Namsan Seoul Tower.
We recommend this tour and warmly aknowledge Sunny for this enjoyable day.
Very good tour for people like us to cover focal points. I am glad I booked this full day tour for my family

Wonderful trip. Our tour guide, Hanna, was very pleasant and friendly and very knowledgeable. Our tour covered quite a few places in Seoul but was not rushed.
A day well spent with a good mixture of sites and a very bubbly and friendly guide,Sunny, who spoke good english and was happy to answer our many questions.
We were fortunate to have Jay and Winnie as our tour guides. They were both knowledgeable, friendly and very sociable. They never missed a beat and the tour itself was worth it. Hotel pick-up and drop-off was very accommodating as well. We plan on signing up for their other tour packages when we come back to visit again. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
My wife and I both enjoyed the Seoul City tour very much. Our guide, Rebecca, was knowledgable, and a kick to hang with! For anyone coming to Seoul I highly recommend this tour early on as it lends a nice overview of the city.
Highly recommend. this all day tour which was run by City Seoul Tour Inc. Our tour guide Hana Heejan spoke excellent English, was enthusiastic and very willing to share her knowledge and thoughts about the history of Korea and modern day Seoul. Due to a rain downpour she adjusted our activity to move indoors and came up with a perfect alternative to the planned outdoor site. In one day all the important sites to see were included. A perfect full day tour.
The tour is divided into 2 parts, morning and afternoon. During the morning tour, our guide as Daria, and she is very nice. We went to Jogyesa Temple and took a lot of pictures. And then we went to Gyeongbokgung Palace including the National Folk Museum and Ghwanghamun Gate. The palace is good, but not great, maybe I was expecting something a bit more exotic. And then we have lunch at Insadong, which is a great place for pictures and traditional arts and crafts shopping.
During lunch, we were transferred to a new guide, Katie, who took us to North Seoul Tower and the traditional village. The tower is just another tower, a so so experience. While the traditional village is a good place to take a few pictures. Unfortunately, we were not given the time to rent a traditional clothing to maximize the picture taking.
All in all, the tour is fine, but not great. I also realized during the tour that there is another full day tour but replaces the Tower with a visit to another palace. Maybe that will give a better experience.
Note: if you take the tour in November like us, wear warm clothing, because it is very cold.
It was a good tour, had a glimpse of Seoul history and culture for 1 day. Loved places we've been except that it would be better to skip the ones pertaining to ginseng and red pine tree and more of the old villages.
David our tour guide was very accommodating and speaks very good english.
Pick-up was early we were ready at our hotel, so things started promptly.
David spoke excellent English and communicated well with all eight of us. We experienced light rain all day, but saw everything we were supposed to, and travelled in the comfort and convenience of a small Seoul City Tour bus. We enjoyed the Temple and Palace, where we were fortunate enough to witness the changing of the Palace guards at 11am. We found the Folk Museum especially interesting: exhibits showed the typical progression in the life of a typical Korean from birth to death, and all attendant rituals. Rain clouds obscurred most of the distant scenery from the top of Seoul Tower, but it did start to clear up, just as we were leaving, so David was able to point out the tallest building in Korea. The government transplanted five homes from different places to one Village so we could get a good look at how Koreans lived. For lunch, we each had our choice of one of four things: I got kim-chee fried rice, which was just spicy enough for me. Other offerings included beef, pork and something very spicy.
Although both were done efficiently and purportedly in an educational way, we did not care being required to visit the amethyst factory and ginseng store.
