What You Can Expect

Granada Day Trip from Seville Including Skip-the-Line Entrance to Alhambra Palace and Optional Albaicin Walking Tour

Typical houses in Granada

Select your tour option when you book. Then, start your experience with a pickup from your central Seville hotel or alternatively, from a meeting point in central Seville.

Settle aboard your air-conditioned coach and admire the rugged Andalucian countryside as you journey to Granada. Along the way, hear an introduction to your destination’s history, and learn how your route is the same as the one taken by the 19th-century American essayist Washington Irving, author of the famous Tales of the Alhambra.

Catch glimpses of the Alhambra Palace on your approach to Granada and, on arrival, enjoy a guided walking tour of this UNESCO-listed gem. Bypass the entrance lines with your skip-the-line ticket, and enjoy priority access to its main attractions, including the Alcazaba, Nasrid Palace, Generalife Gardens and Palace of Charles V.

A vision of Moorish architecture and art, this exquisite complex dates back to the 13th century, and was built as a royal city, court and retreat for Spain’s Moorish rulers. Admire the Court of Lions and Hall of the Ambassadors, and stroll around the enchanting courtyards, fountains and pavilions as your guide shares details of their history.

Next, drive to the center of Granada to enjoy lunch (own expense). Then, depending on your chosen tour option, take a guided walk of the UNESCO-protected Albaicin quarter, Granada’s old Moorish district.

Stroll down the narrow streets past whitewashed houses, churches, gardens and flower-filled balconies, and stop to take in the area’s spectacular panoramas over the hilltop Alhambra.

Afterward, hop back in your coach and drive back to Seville where your tour finishes at the start point.

Transport and other arrangements were great as for Córdoba. Guide was energetic and knew history well. I guess duration was not enough as she hurried with tour and we could have spent more time then we did.

We were picked up at 550am but did not leave Seville before 745am, which i think was too long for us sitting in bus picking other guests.
I would not recommend taking this trip from Seville as spent more then 6 hrs in bus for journey to and fro .

We had minimal time in southern Spain and as much as we tried, could not fit a night in Granada in our plans. Taking this tour was a perfect way to satisfy the desire to see the Alhambra, which is just absolutely amazing. Be prepared for a long day because of the drive it's beautiful too but its totally worth it!

The entire tour was amazing from the optional Albaicin walking trip to the tour guide at the Alhambra palace. I cannot say enough, it is an experience that can only be justified by a visit in person.

Best tour ever, very informative and enjoyable. Wear comfortable shoes, hat and light clothes especially during summer time, as the weather is so hot there. The guide was excellent and made everything easy and clear. Highly recommended.

This was an amazing tour. Our guides were wonderful! Seville is a beautiful city, and the Alhambra Palace is not to be missed. We visited in July '17 and the weather was hot be sure to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated. We would love to visit again in the Spring when temps are cooler.

Visiting the Alhambra was very memorable. I love how the architecture and design has been influenced by various cultures, Moors, Catholics, etc. Rich story, spectacular views.

Excellent tour and funny guide. We were staying in Santa Cruz so we had to walk to a disignated spot for pickup. It was a small group of people. We paid extra to join to optional walking tour which was first I think that should have been in the afternoon. It was informative but the moorish quarter wasnt all that beautiful. Then we went on the tour of the Palace and gardens In the afternoon. The guide was good but she was talking a mile a minute and walked very fast. I wish they had included a visit to the cathedral to see the tombs of Ferdinand and IsabellaI was deciding whether or not to have the free time in the town to see that or do the walking tour.

Very well organised day trip. Coach pick up was on time. We were notified of change of pick up time the previous day so everything ran smoothly. With a break the journey was no problem at all and the tour guide Cipriano was excellent keeping us informed in English and Spanish.
The afternoon tour of the Alhambra was brilliant, with no queuing and the tour guide here was also excellent. We arrived back in Seville just after 20.00. A very satisfying day.
