What You Can Expect

Granada Day Trip from Seville Including Skip-the-Line Entrance to Alhambra Palace and Optional Albaicin Walking Tour

Typical houses in Granada

Select your tour option when you book. Then, start your experience with a pickup from your central Seville hotel or alternatively, from a meeting point in central Seville.

Settle aboard your air-conditioned coach and admire the rugged Andalucian countryside as you journey to Granada. Along the way, hear an introduction to your destination’s history, and learn how your route is the same as the one taken by the 19th-century American essayist Washington Irving, author of the famous Tales of the Alhambra.

Catch glimpses of the Alhambra Palace on your approach to Granada and, on arrival, enjoy a guided walking tour of this UNESCO-listed gem. Bypass the entrance lines with your skip-the-line ticket, and enjoy priority access to its main attractions, including the Alcazaba, Nasrid Palace, Generalife Gardens and Palace of Charles V.

A vision of Moorish architecture and art, this exquisite complex dates back to the 13th century, and was built as a royal city, court and retreat for Spain’s Moorish rulers. Admire the Court of Lions and Hall of the Ambassadors, and stroll around the enchanting courtyards, fountains and pavilions as your guide shares details of their history.

Next, drive to the center of Granada to enjoy lunch (own expense). Then, depending on your chosen tour option, take a guided walk of the UNESCO-protected Albaicin quarter, Granada’s old Moorish district.

Stroll down the narrow streets past whitewashed houses, churches, gardens and flower-filled balconies, and stop to take in the area’s spectacular panoramas over the hilltop Alhambra.

Afterward, hop back in your coach and drive back to Seville where your tour finishes at the start point.

Very impressed with the luxury coach provided for this trip, with reclining seats and super air conditioning! The trip went very smoothly, with excellent tour guides for Albaycin tour and the Alhambra Palace. Only downside, was that the Alhambra tour was very rushed and didn't get time to buy souvenirs from the shop as there is a strict no waiting policy for the coaches - would have liked more time to take photos, but due to number of visitors, we were moved on fairly quickly. But would thoroughly recommend you take this tour, company were excellent.

The tour of the Alhambra was incredible. Only downside was the microphone for the tour guide on the bus to and from Seville to Grenada was not working properly. Otherwise great tour.

We loved this trip too and Patra was amazing just because of her this trip turned out more fun and easy. She was very concerned and communicative with everyone. I think she was more then a tour guide person. Please ask for her if you going to take this tour. Drive was very nice and played great music during our tour. Thank you Patra we missed you. Must take this tour. :

This was an amazing trip! Alhambra was incredible and our guide was very knowledgeable - she described in detail the life and times over the life of the palace. We also took the optional walking tour of Albaicin which I would highly recommend.

Although it's an early start it's well worth it but I would advise that on the day before your trip that you get confirmation of your pick up point and time. Petra our guide on the coach and for the Albaicin walking tour was excellent throughout, she was friendly knowledgeable and was always happy to answer any questions about this trip, Andalusia and Spain in general on the journey back she helped several people organise trips, outings and flamenco evenings for the rest of their holiday.
The skip the line entrance at the Alhambra is great no waiting around in the heat. Our guide was Alberto he was also excellent the history of and the way of life at the palace was fully explained but was never boring and I found that listening to someone tell the story was a more relaxing way of visiting rather than having to keep reading a guide book or an information plaque. The tour was at a gentle pace and was never rushed and there was a break for refreshments half way through.
Very enjoyable and highly recommended
