Our guide was the best. Very knowledgeble! He really knew his stuff. From Christian to Muslim matters, he really knew what he was talking about and that was awesome. Visit the Alhambra and Granada was a dream and it came true! Great Job!
This was an outstanding tour!! They showed up on time and we had a delightful time.
Great day out! Palace is definitely a must see. Everyone one was fantastic from the beginning of the journey to to end.
Fabulous tour and excellent, knowledgeable guides. Thank you!
Paid extra for 8 person maximum trip on minivan did not happen. Instead it was a 50-60 person regular bus, which picked us up late in pouring rain while we had to wait in outside parking lot. Once at Alhambra, Anna, our guide assigned to English and Spanish speakers, was fantastic. The local Visitour company known nothing about the small group option I signed up for.
This tour company is very, very deceptive. We paid a lot of money for a small-group day tour--much more than we would have paid for a mass coach bus tour. The tour was supposed to last from 7am-7pm. After the tour company took our money, they emailed us through viator to let us know they were picking us up at 5:20 in the morning. Considering that you cannot eat dinner in Spain before 9pm, it was a VERY difficult time for the tour to start and we are generally early risers. When we walked outside of our hotel at 5:20, we were greeted with a massive coach bus and huddled in. The tour was packed--not a single seat empty on the bus. To top it off, the tour coordinator would not shut up, making it difficult to sleep after our 5am wakeup call.
The only reason that I am giving this tour two stars, instead of one, is because our tour guide at the Alhambra, Angel, was phenomenal. One of the best tour guides I have ever had. Our 3 hours at the Alhambra were wonderful. The other 10 hours we spent with the rest of the tour company however, were disappointing and deceptive. We feel very ripped off.
This tour was unexpectedly very very bad! We were very disappointed! The tour started at 9.45am instead of 7am as claimed and ended close to 11pm! Although there was a guide on board the bus with us for the 3 hour journey to Granada and 3 hour back to Serville, and she spoke in 3 languages Spanish, French and English, all we had were bursts of 3 minute information throughout the journey. In total she probably shared close to 15 minutes per language worth of information about the places we passed through and the village in Alhambra for the 6 hour bus journey! What saved the trip was the Fabulous local guide at Alhambra who gave very good information about the Alhambra settlement.
