Very interesting with a good explanation from our guide Javier. We are used to seeing a lot of Roman places where I live in Italy but it was nice to see the largest Roman ruins in Spain. The old monastery we went to was amazing as well. It was also off season so we had the guide all to ourselves which was wonderful to be able to ask him questions.. There are a lot of things to see and do in Seville but if you have some extra time, this is worth it! Hope we can do another tour with Javier when we return to Seville.

A great experience thanks to a very knowledgeable guide. The place is a gem and we have it practically to ourselves for most of the tour. Mosaics and the amphitheater were highlights for me. Thank you, Patricia.

Italica is an incredible place to see. I've been there a few times in the past and have also attended concerts in the coliseum in the evening, and that is an amazing experience. This was the first time that I took a tour and it was great! It was a small group of 7, which was perfect, we also took the 9:00am morning time slot which was also the best, only because, it can get really hot in the afternoon. It was a quick drive from Sevilla and yet every step of the way our Tour Guide Juan, was fantastic and supper informative. I learned a lot of new things about the area, from there we went to see the Monasterio de San Isidoro del Campo, followed by a wine tasting. It was great.

Italica was one of my favorite sites in Saville the tour was incredible. After we visited the ancient Roman empire we stopped in at a unforgettable Monastery. The tour could not have been any more memorable.

I highly recommend this morning half-day tour from Seville to Roman history buffs and those interested in the history of Seville and its environs. The tour guide was friendly, spoke English very well, and was thoroughly versed in the historical and cultural context of the places we visited. He picked me up by minivan near the apartment where I was staying. We had a small tour group of seven people on the day I went. The tour starts with the partially excavated ruins of the wealthy merchant area of this ancient town very sunny...don't forget your hats and sunscreen! and the remains of the city amphitheater, and then proceeds to the San Isidoro Del Campo Monastery before returning to Seville. The ruins give a great sense of the Roman presence in Spain the mosaics were particularly impressive and beautiful. The amphitheater is just amazing...the Coliseum on a smaller scale. The monastery was an unexpected gem of art and architecture. So if you are staying for a while in Seville, this is a great way to send a morning and be back in time for lunch!

This was an excellent trip. Our guide was knowledgable and good company. We loved the mosaics at Italca. On the way back from Italica, he took us to a beatutiful monastery and then to a tavern for a glass of local wine. HIghly recommended!

I love Roman history and this did not disappoint. What is exciting is that they have just started uncovering these sites and they will continue to grow and change.
