Experience a dog sled ride pulled by a team of huskies and mushers along the Godwin Glacier, offering sweeping views of Alaska's snowy landscape. Your 90-minute tour includes travel to the glacier from Seward round-trip by helicopter for a bird's-eye view of this majestic state.
  • 90-minute dog sledding ride by helicopter from Seward
  • Get aerial views of the Godwin Glacier during the short helicopter ride
  • Learn about dog sledding, the Alaskan state sport
  • Play with Husky puppies at the mushers camp
Make your own way to  the Seward airport to meet your helicopter pilot. You can choose from multiple departure times per day in the morning, afternoon and early evening.

After check in, your pilot whisks you into the sky on a scenic 15-minute helicopter ride to the Godwin Glacier. Take in 360-degree views of Alaska's natural beauty, including pristine snow fields and towering mountains.

Your helicopter lands at the professional mushers camp where you meet your sledding guide. The team of 25 huskies waits to carry you across the snow fields on a 2-mile (3.2-km) ride. Learn how dog sledding developed for travel and hunting during the harsh winters, and hear about competitive dog sledding races that take place in Alaska.

After your ride, warm up with a hot beverage and have the chance to play with some adorable Husky puppies. Then climb aboard your helicopter for the short flight back to Seward.

I believe that this tour had been the best tour I had. The pilots and mushers took extra effort to provide this tour to me because due to weather they could not fly on the day tour was booked. Next day though my schedule was tight they worked as a team and provided this opportunity. I am happy that I booked this tour.
