I rate it amazing because they aren't responsible for the weather. It wasn't the best day and late in the summer Sept 3 so most of the whales were gone already but the accommodations and the buffet were great and we had a really good time despite the weather. The views were amazing and the trip is very well run

This cruise was amazing! We got to see sea lions relaxing on rocks, also eagles hunting fish and the most important- whales!!! Nature is spectacular all around, buffet offering salmon was delicious. Take a jacket - its windy. Definitely recommend this one!

We had a bad weather day but that does not take away from the adventure as a whole. The whole experience went well otherwise. Boarding was easy, seats were assigned, 4 of us in our party with backpacks and felt comfortable leaving then at our table when we went outside for viewing. Buffet was great, first time around they call you up by table number after that you can go back for seconds. Same thing for dessert but reverse order. The Rangers on board were helpful in telling the story of the area and very knowledgeable. Lots of room on board when outside on deck even with a full boat.Other than the bad weather Overcast raining and 45 the trip for 5 hours was great. Would have like to see some whales but can control the sea life. The company and crew were top notch.

The tour was great! The crew were engaged during the entire trip, and VERY enthusiastic when orcas were spotted! There was a national park ranger on board who helped spot animals and educated us about the animals in the area, and answered questions. There was a biologist from the aquarium on board as well who was another good source of information. There were lots of outdoor viewing locations at the upper levels of the boat, and windows along the seating/dining area. We saw lots of animals....and I'm sure that the marine animals that you see will vary due to time of the year and luck, but we were very fortunate to see LOTS on this tour. Having access to loaner binoculars was a great feature of the tour. The buffet was very good and there was plenty of food for everyone.

This trip should be on everyone's bucket list! Our group of six did this in conjunction with the Alaska Railroad Adventure Class journey from Anchorage to Seward, which tales four hours, then you board the boat for five hours, then return by train. So it is worth noting what a long day's journey this is but so very worth it. The train was roomy, clean, and you travel through some of the world's best scenery as the staff alert you to wildlife along the route. The food is decent. The boat tour was marvelous and there was a park ranger on board describing the glaciers, sea otters, seals, puffins, etc. etc. Even though the weather was imperfect, it was still well worth doing to see so much beauty and so many creatures in their natural settings.

The crew and set up of the ship was fantastic. The lunch buffet plenty and delicious. I loved that this vessel had tables and seating was assigned. I enjoyed especially Ranger Jordan and her narrations. Getting the children so engaged was awesome. LOVED the assortment of adult beverages and bar/ food area. The restrooms were impeccable. A really well organized ship. I wished we could take it all the way to the Northwestern Fjord.

had a great time.. crew was very helpful with wildlife sightings. Saw some humpback whales, dolphins, lots of birds and eagles. The park ranger on board was great, answered all our questions. We had the dinner option and it was very good, lots of food and enough for seconds. Weather perfect, water smooth. Would do again.

Great day. Saw 6 whales, sea lions, mountain goats and amazing scenery. Crew was fantastic. Took food, did not purchase meals. Hot water for tea, cold water, and coffee are free. Other drinks and snacks available for purchase. Over half the boat was sick or sleeping from rough weather.
