This tour definitely exceeded my expectations. The crew was very friendly and helpful. It was raining for at least half the trip so it was nice to have the heated indoor area to warm up and return to the outside. They supplied binoculars. I've been on boat tours and whale watching tours in the past but I have never seen so much of what I intended to see when booking. We saw 4 humpbacks and one got pretty close to the boat. We saw a few bald eagles, lots of otters, goats, puffins, a couple small waterfalls, an old WWII bunker in the side of a mountain, and there is probably more that isn't coming to mind at the moment. I definitely recommend if you head to Seward.

Great tour! 3.5 hours was right amount of time to see every kind of wildlife in the Bay - several humpback whales, sea lions, birds, sea otters, etc. Our captain, Sarah, and crew were great. The information and history they provided was enlightening and interesting. We took the 1:30 p.m. tour and it was perfect. Major Marine, the cruise line, limits the number of passengers to about 60, so the boat is not overcrowded and everyone could see the wildlife. Also, Major Marine's boat allows passengers to be in front, back, up or down, which is better than some other cruises. We were not stuck in our seats with strangers. Everyone roamed the boat so we could see and take the best pictures.

We attempted to cancel because of the fog and rain. Could not cancel that late so had to go anyway. Wow...glad we did! The crew was great, and we saw bald eagles, otters, humpback whales, orcas, mountain goats, porpoise, puffins, seals...
